The knock block on the Meridas are well known for not being fitted correctly. This can result in the fork hitting the frame and/or cables being cut by the block. Have your shop service the headset and install the block on the steerer tube properly and you should be good to go.

Use some compressed air to clean out the charge socket on the bike and head on the charger. Also check k if you have any moisture in the charge socket. I've had the same after washing the bike due to moisture in the socket.

For the record, when I bought my 9K the guy in the shop helped me load the bike into the back of my Landrover. I always atkethe front wheel off when I load this way to stop the fork hitting the frame.
Also quite a few have had the block move and cable cut. It's not just you. I think it's not...
On my bike the block was installed a bit too low on the steerer and wasn't tight enough. That meant if the handle bars rotated hard the block could cut the cable like a guillotine because the cable could move out of its correct position. Also once it took a small hit the block rotated on the...
The knock block/cable design is stupid but I don't think the bike is unsafe. You'll lose your E functions if the controller cable is cut but the bike will ride. Mine was and I did a self repair and reinforced it significantly. Have had no issues since. Part of the problem is the poor assembly by...
No it's near the water bottle mounts and kind of looks like a third mounting point. Its about 6mm across.
Use something blunt, like a 5mm allen key to push the button. You're pushing the button on the battery and it's rubber. Sharp objects will damage it.

To the best of my knowledge (I haven't replaced my stem, but I did fit an EDC tool which required the round spacers above the stem), you can replace all of the stock spacers with round ones and leave the original headset cap in place, if you want. I don't know if you can replace the entire...
You can put on any stem you like. The weird shaped spacer will still work. You'll need some round ones for any spacers above the stem which looks a bit better anyway. It's just a cosmetic thing.

On my 2019 e160 I changed to a 170mm Lyrik Ultimate. Honestly I don't think it made a huge difference. So on my 2021 e160 I left it at 160mm. My bike is the 9000 so comes with a Fox 38. I really like the 38 and do think a Zeb or 38 would be better but probably just leave it at 160mm.

Can't you rotate the piggy back? Should be able to set it up at 90 degrees.
The top of your shock has a Trunion mount. Just look for that option in something like a Fox DPS.

I'll measure the 150mm I have in my medium for you today. I know it's not a large, but might help.
For 10mm you can change to shorter cranks. 165's are standard.

What happened on mine was the block was low on the steerer. That allowed the cable to move out of the slot and get trapped outside like a guilitene. Makind sure the block is installed properly solves the problem. Personally I’d prefer it was cabled away from the headset.
Also the light I have...
I have the current 9000. Love this bike. I changed the bars, saddle and put an AXS dropper on it. That's it.
Complaints. The saddle sucks. Horrible awful thing. I REALLY dislike the sTEPS cable running through the headset. My knock block was fitted incorrectly and severed the cable. Thankfully...
The BT-E8036 has the same dimensions as the BT-E8035-L (note the *L* suffix at the end). The original BT-E8035 is smaller so the bigger battery won't fit. So the short answer is no, but you have a second battery in the 2020 model that you didn't get in the 2021 version, which comes with a...
Either a Fox 34 or a RockShox Pike might suit. The Pike would be more *all terrain* and the 34 would be more *XC* although both are capable. The Pike will have less flex but the 34 is lighter. You're much lighter than I, so you probably don't need the extra heft of the Pike.
You said you don't...
Yep. Just unplug from the display (carefully. remove by the plug not the cable.) and remove. If you could be bothered there are even expensive Di2 rubber bands you can get that are purpose made to hold the cable. A few small rubber bands from the supermarket will work just as well.
