    BT-E8016 external battery.

I was wondering if anyone with a frame size S has installed the (external) 630Wh battery? (eOne-Sixty 900 2018, the red one :) ). With the OEM Rock Shox Deluxe shock this will cause interference when fully compressed, but are there any piggyback shocks that don't interfere? Or is the only option...

Recently I changed the original Lyrik RC fork for a DVO Diamond. I couldn't get the Lyrik to my liking on fast (brake)bumps. Maybe it's because I'm not to heavy at 70kg's (too much HSC) or maybe I don't know enough about setting up suspension. Or maybe I just didn't have enough patience :)...

Not sure, it was still the original set of pads so probably worn something like halfway. In the front I use organic/resin pads, in the rear metal pads.

Dropper post hose through the frame

You need to completely unscrew the small screw on the picture. Then you can take the clamp out and it'll be a lot easier to get the cable/hose through the frame ;)

My second trip to the Alps with the Merida is already history again... This year I did a six-day tour through Piemonte, which is in the north-west part of Italy. It was an organized trip, our bags were transported with a van and the routes, sleeping and eating was al taken care of. We had the...

Correct: Shimano four pot brakes use a short banjo bolt. If you've got these you can leave the hoses on the bike and mount the Zee calipers and levers. The only cables that run through the bars are the electric ones. There's a hole under the grip, and one under the stem. There are rubber bands...

That mud flap comes with the bike, it did with mine. A mud guard for the front fork was also included when I bought mine, and a pair of lights (simple ones, with batteries).

Merida eone sixty 900 rims - tubeless ready?

The green tape is not meant to be used in a tubeless setup, you were lucky with one wheel ;) I used 40mm yellowtape, that fits perfect and I had no problems with setting up tubeless. First I tried it with narrower tape overlapping, but that didn't work on one wheel so after that I decided to...

    E7000 switches.

I just bought and installed the 7000 switch with the 400mm cable. If you have a Merida (like I do) with routing of the electric wire through the handlebar this is too short :( The cable goes to the left under the grip where the hole in the bar is, so you'll need the 700mm version if you want to...

That's right, al Shimano levers are compatible, even the old ones (before they started to use the servo wave on hydraulic levers). Never tried the Shigura option, I'm happy with the Shimano's as they come ;)

Sorry for my late reply, haven't been on the forum for a while. But you can attach the four pot calipers to the existing hoses, you just need other banjo bolts (shorter). I bought a complete set of XT four pot brakes, swapped the calipers and banjos and put the two pot set on another bike I...

Got some other pics from my trip to the Alps in september. Ofcourse pics are taken on the easy paths, when you're riding the more technical stuff nobody wants to get off their bikes :)

    Left hand rear brake

Usually shifter- and dropper cables are the same, 4mm in outer diameter. Brake cables and -hoses are 5mm in diameter. So it should fit :)

    Left hand rear brake

@Billy, you could just swap the cable clamps when re-routing the brake hose. The clamp with three holes goes to the right for the rear brake hose, dropper cable and electric cable. The one with one hole to the left for the rear mech cable. That's the way I would want to have it, so maybe I'll...

    Left hand rear brake

I'm from The Netherlands, but I want my brakes set up the UK-way ;) And that is indeed because I've been riding motorcycles for fourty years and cannot get used to the front brake on the left hand side. That's gonna end in a crash for sure  So I did the left-right swap with the brake hoses...

Not really, you'll be spending more time on the parts you have to remove to get the motor out ;) I f I remember correctly I first removed the chain. Then loosen the chainguide a bit so you can rotate it out of the way (I think I took the outer half off as well). Remove the chainring and the...

It's this one: EONE-SIXTY 900 - Merida Bikes International Here in The Netherlands they sell the 800, 900 and 900E. I didn't need the extra's from the 900E and the price difference between the 800 and 900 wasn't that big but you do get some better components like the DT 350 hubs and Lyrik...

Does anybody know what the maximum insert for a seatpost is on an E-Onesixty frame size small? I would like a little more drop than the 120mm from the original post and I wonder what would still fit. If possible I'd like a 6" drop. I have a BikeYoke in 31.6mm which I could convert to 30.9mm if...

No, it's a 900 (without the "E", so no di2 and RS suspension in stead of Fox). I changed the shifting to Sram GX because I want gripshifters and upgraded the XT brakes to the four pot version. The backpack is the Evoc Trail e-ride, it's designed to carry a spare battery for an e-bike. You can...
