I hate mudguards on my bike but for a short spell I put this set up on. Mudhugger + a cut down piece of another mudguard wedged in to extend it for a bit more protection. Does the job, looks like shite but is only on there for a couple of months. Did I say I hate mudguards on my bike. 😂👍

Same age as mine then, mines done just under 1500 miles. But no play in bearings that I have noticed. 👍

Just looking at that picture of your bike scares me. I don’t have any facilities or tools to do stuff on my bike so rely on bike shops. Fair play to you for doing it. How old is your bike as it looks the same as mine and now I am wondering if my bearings are going to need doing. 👍

Just use a camel back, more water and storage for basics and you get used to it on your back. (y)

The battery does not make the bike stronger, it’s the fact the Down tube has not been cut into to access the battery which makes the bike stronger. (y)
