I've got two River R600 max units, they are the basic R600 with an extra battery unit that bolts to the bottom, I think each Max unit is 576wh, they can be linked together to make 1152wh total.
The River Pro is 720wh on it's own and you can double that by connecting a separate extra battery...
I think EV take up is far more advanced in Norway than most other countries.
Can't see it being an affordable option for me for years unfortunately.
So no, I think these devices definitely have a use for a while yet...
Think the Bluetti is about £2k... (edit: seems they've dropped in price)
I initially had an Ecoflow Delta 1300, packed up after a few months, had a refund, bought two Ecoflow R600 max units for about the same price, both still working...
Now got one of THESE came with 80 watt solar panel as...
@Gasser If you don't mind the potential risk, then checkout Kickstarter or Indiegogo as there's usually a few on there, I've got one from Kickstarter and currently waiting for one from Indiegogo.
I did have a car and a van, had a VW Caddy for work and Mitsubishi Outlander, which wasn't great for putting a bike in, the way the rear seats folded was weird...
Anyway, got bored of taking front wheel off and getting car dirty, and the cost of running two vehicles was too much, hence the...
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a perfect vehicle for this, I've had to compromise by getting a van to do both work and play.
My Custom is fitted out to get all my work gear in (I'm an electrician) and also get two fully assembled bikes in without removing much kit.
Oops, my mistake, I didn't read your first post properly... just read the 4 amp charger bit  Mine says 2 amps max input current, only ever seen 180 Watts max though so hopefully yours won't be much more than 300 Watts... ?
The 4 amps on the charger refers to the output current not input, as mentioned above my Focus charger draws just under 180 Watts, 4 amps at 42 volts plus losses for electronic stuff inside equals the 180 Watts.
It uses a LiFePo battery (Lithium iron) rather than the usual Lithium ion, apparently it's a lot safer as well as having a much higher number of charge cycles.
My current Ecoflow one is standard lithium ion and only has around 500 charge cycles, similar to most e-bike batteries I think...
I also backed this one, expecting it around May or June, seems about the right size in terms of output and capacity, comes with 80 watt solar panel for just under £600.
Unfortunately their Indiegogo campaign has ended now, although they plan on making a larger one later this year.
The build...
Not sure, watch Hobotech's review of one of their pre-production models, I wasn't convinced they were giving themselves enough time to sort the issues before production.
That particular one was well reviewed by a few 'experts' on YouTube, it was originally available via a crowd funding site for less than £1000. It's a beast though!
I've got a couple of Ecoflow R600's, not as powerful or as much capacity as that one though, they replaced a larger Ecoflow Delta...
VW Transporter 4motion is an option, very rare and very expensive though...
I used to have a mid sized SUV and a small van, got fed up with taking wheels off to get bike in the car and putting seats down etc, also expensive running two vehicles.
I've now got a Transit Custom, used for work...
