I managed to put an order through for the MX 3core in green. I would have loved to have seen the Shimano battery (its my understanding shimano will service 3rd party batteries dunno if YT is under that), and SLX brakes (preference). I only live 50mins from the mill its reassuring if there's an...
They might have 100 frames but not enough parts for a whole bike. But but mixing and matching what avaible they might be able to use up all their left overs as specials, maximising profit in this high demand market. No point in discounting 2020 bikes they can't get the parts to finish them till...
my guess the reason for the specials is based on what they can get their hands on currently in enough numbers to justify a small run due to the regular edition bikes struggling for parts to complete. Flush out their remaining 2020 stock
@akuria maybe but the stag beetle is part of the Scarabaeoidea a little marketing bluring/stretching and you get a cool image and cool name throw in some pearlescent paint..

I'm hoping they'll offer ep8 and shimano or YT battery option (if they adopt shimanos fittings for their batteries), or honestly just go all shimano. Lets face it most bike (and car) manufacturers are in the business of making chassis not parts. YT made their own battery because the aesthetic...
Fully aware of 'nothing as fast as a hire car' its hardly a unique problem. I'm not specifically speaking about YT here either although they do have a demo fleet. There was a thread about another direct sales company on here, the guy was without his bike for months from the brand I was...
