Congratulations on the new ride & welcome to a wealth of info here! I use the Giant Ride app to setup assistance levels, the app has been spotty when first released but getting better with time. For some reason, the iOS version seemed less buggy than Android, maybe this is a thing of the past...

LBS is a dedicated Giant shop, not the largest but significant in sales nevertheless... They were early adopters of e-bike tech (+/- 8 years) they claimed to have swapped one yamaha motor so far. This is my second Giant e-mtb without issues. I'm not in the UK so water isn't as much an issue here.

Giant Reign E+… 2022, 2023 & 2024 models are essentially the same bikes. Subtle exceptions are on components and battery that went from 625Wh to 800Wh, everything else pretty much unchanged (frame, geometry, motor…) Great bike! 👍

Interesting thread, I’m in a similar situation, riding full fat emtb now and loving it, yet I tested the Trance Elite and really liked the weight difference and adjustable torque motor… The new Heckler SL seems to check all the boxes as well, definitely need to have the Range Extender which is...

I I tried the Elite for a good 1 ½ hour last fall and did not experience dropper issue at all. I completely agree that Giant is unlikely to market a bike with this inherent problem.

That's a warranty issue. Should work properly like all others.

The current line up of Reign 2023 and 2024 are pretty much the same bikes except for colour and minor components changes

This was introduced a while ago in Canada, I had the chance to try the Elite E+1. Great bike! I'm personally waiting for the Reign equivalent, hopefully later this summer.

Miranda installation manual for Yamaha PW-X2 states 47-54 Nm Bosch gen2 is 57-54 Nm

With the Miranda Dealer’s manual found on their site and the help of Youtube (thanks ParkTool) I was able to complete the work. I’m anxious to try, I’ll find out in the spring… The 150mm Miranda Kies cranks are 78g heavier than the stock Praxis 160mm. Cheers everyone 🍺

I just got Miranda Kies 150 Q:16 for my 2022 Reign E+2 (directly from Miranda) I am not an experienced bike mechanic, what is the torque level for these? Any other tips for a novice installer? Thanks.

Yep, long chainstay. Stable & great on climbs, harder to bunny hop. 🤓

There are so many different Giant Trance models available today plus their naming convention could be confusing… The alu Trance with 800Wh battery already exists. Non mullet, long chainstay and heavy.

I'm also two years ownership in February 2024. 2,270 km on Reign E+2 running in “high” geometry setting without any issues. I switched the dropper post for a longer Giant model, stem (35mm), flat pedals and grips. Love this bike! I secretly wish Giant comes out with a lightweight Reign model...

Wassup? You posted the same video in three places? Did I miss something or is that info on Giant's website?
