It sounds like you are the problem. Get a new better rider. Watch the proper way to change gears and select them.

My Stance 2021 came with a 500Wh. I simply do a morning ride eat at home(close to some trails) than go for a second ride after 60 to 120 minutes of charging. I think carrying a second battery on my back is not safe if i fall.

I would go med. Never buy too big, if it feels a bit small for a few $ you can fix that.

RANGE TEST My StanceE+2 2021 is 6 months old, 500Wh. I weight 140 pounds. Starting with a filled battery, on 5 lights level, i did 33kms in 70 minutes when i lost my second light so i only had 1 light left of battery charge. Here in Quebec the assist cuts at 32km/h.

Some say shorter equal faster rotation so more time at high cadence when the assist is in the better zone so range is improved. The transmission is ideal in my opinion. For me i enjoy larger tire, up to 3.0 they fit. Also next on my list that might be improved is the fork. It all depends where we ride, what we enjoy.
