overstock is high, they had 2 different sales at the end of 2022. They just laid off 8% of their workforce to preserve capital....they need overstock to sell to generate cash and not have it tied up in inventory. For the gen 3 levo there is not likely a new model pending.....SL levo is a...
just installed the new alloy link on an S2....FYI the clearance of the bridge at full compression gets REALLY close to the ST at bottom out....like 1mm of clearance which is too close for comfort for me.....I reduced the stroke on my shock 2mm slightly to get a little more OH S!!!t clearance in...
That bushing is present on gen 3 levos shocks, the just made a mistake. Instead of shipping back you could get a bushing tool and remove it yourself if it is a standard bushing size.

No they want to upsell you to a carbon model, especially if you have a gen 2....want the mastermind, must spend $9k. Much better margin for them than selling $200 tcus
I've only had my 2022 comp alloy a few months and not many miles....and the battery just failed. While on a ride the bike turned off and would not restart. Bike is at LBS getting repaired. Warranty is great through specialized but be prepared to use it. Pedaling or pushing a heavy ebike out of...
2022 levo comp alloy less than 100 miles.....bike just turned off mid ride, luckily I wasn't deep in a valley and was able to cruise down hill to the truck.
Bike is back at LBS....I took a chance knowing the history of the levo motors. Was hoping that they had all of the issues fixed. This is...
Yep thats where mine contacts.....these are the images I sent to Cascade so they are aware. You can see a rib inside the casting that is the main culprit. Reduces travel quite a bit to about 45mm of stroke.
Spoke with Cascade about the interference and sent them detailed images of what was happening. The said only 2 people have had this issue, myself included, so it looks like the seatstay castings vary and not all bikes have issues....they will be working up a link with more clearance in that...
The link bottoms out in the clevis on the seat stay. The casting has a rib in it that interferes. The carbon version must have more clearance in the lower portion of that clevis.
I could grind on the bike and link to get clearance but I'm not going to do that.
I have removed it as it interferes with the seat stay clevis before full rotation on the alloy. Need to wait for Cascade to update the links to clear the alloy components....However, this thread has a bunch Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit - EMTB Forums
Well BAD NEWS the link does not allow full travel on a S2 alloy. The links interfere with the seatstays before full travel is reached. I'm a bit bummed about this and will be contacting cascade tomorrow. My guess is the alloys will need a separate set of link plates than the carbon bikes.
Bad news just did a full travel inspection and this new long shock link is NOT compatible with the seatstays on a S2 alloy comp....the link bottoms out in the seatstay clevis limiting full travel....I'm pretty bummed.....I will contact cascade tomorrow. I'm guessing they will need new link...
