If you are smoking the rear brake and not the front, that means that you are just like me. You rely too much on the rear brake. Also, my personal experience has always been, with SRAM, to use sintered up front, organic in the back. They also have different rotors and thickness. They are...
The big backpack is a given. You can't even call yourself an ebiker if you don't have a big backpack. I use the camelbak hawg with a spare battery. Which of course I only use to increase dh weight for faster dh times.
They come with either battery. Depends on how the bike was ordered. My 22 comp came with a 500wh. The same bike with a bigger battery was another $1000 U.S.
Agreed. Too small equals sore knees for me. The first gen levos always got XL even though I'm not extra large. Wife has 21 Kenevo and it runs a size small also. I could be wrong but I seem to remember that when you go to the bigger size bike, the wheel base is slightly longer which is what I...
I've been with Specialized ebikes for five years now. The reason I stay with them is the warranty service from my LBS. If you ride a lot your gonna need a lot of motors and hubs. It seems to me that when they put a new motor in, the warranty on the motor starts over. That's contrary to standard...
KTM reporting for duty! Pictures from today. Also, my new Levo from a couple days ago. Not happy with the finicky 12sp SRAM and rear derailleur hanger that is too weak, but otherwise love the mullet.
I think you already figured out the rear sag contributed. The other thing is probably too much air in the front tire. I broke my fibula from a front end wash out going up hill on a fast switch back. That was on a 17' Levo with a 3.0 front tire with too much air pressure. Fast forward to today...
I have a couple of 17s that the battery health started dropping the first ride and later went to cell imbalance. The newer batteries are way better than the old ones. Maybe I'll drop the old batteries off at the LBS and see what they say :)
Broken axles have been common on the Levo since the beginning. (2016) It's really nothing but general maintenance just like replacing a chain for the Levo. They are like $60. Put a new one on every year. Cheers
I think there is a place in Las Vegas. The problem is if you want to ship through the mail you have to have the original packaging. We tried all the carriers one time and they refused to ship.
I have a 17 comp, 18 carbon expert, 21 Kenevo for the wife. Her previous bike was a 17'comp. I think the first version motors lasted longer and were more quiet. The second version motor has more power and is more efficient but is louder. I haven't had the Kenevo long enough to judge it. I...
That awkward moment when you install a comfort saddle for the wife on her new Kenevo.?
I sold the wife's 17' Levo and was looking for a replacement. The 21' Kenevo was $1500 cheaper than a new Levo. The Kenevo didn't have the 700wh battery but that's ok. I needed a bike with low seat height for...
