They should be able to get that information from the Frame/Motor/Battery serial numbers as that's all logged with Specialized. Warranty is definitely transferrable.
That seems super steep, it's less than hours job. Was it just the motor or did they do other work as well whilst it was in? I...
On Option 5 of your dislikes I had the same thing. The battery rattles against the frame on some units. If you add a bit of foam or padding to the top of the battery to push it against the frame a bit that fixed it for me...
Throw away the chain tool. They are more for road bikes, and on an EMTB largely useless.
If you change the chain you will get slippage under load from the Cassette with a new chain. The actual wearing part here on an EMTB is the cassette, not the chain. The extra torque you would have gotten...
Yes agreed! I think they are ‘overpriced’ for what they are parts wise as any eBike. However, the sheer fun and passion they install makes them that value IMHO..
Spesh have always commanded a premium. I think this round of pricing was approaching the tipping point for many. But still they are...
If they aren’t dealing with it they are being a bit short sighted IMHO..
Most people buy a few goodies when they are in and it’s a great chance to build a relationship.
If they aren’t willing to discount units, then it’s fair to say they aren’t shifting many.
Yup me also, I got one of these..Works really well. I just bang in 2 hours when I am not going to use it. Put it on 8hrs for a full charge. The Spesh charger still draws 16w even when off, so it switches off the charger when done. 6 hours is the max it ever takes to charge the battery from...
Apparently yes. The BMS does this for you. It is never fully charged or fully flat.
According to Spesh when we spoke to them, two states are dangerous for the cells, fully charged and fully depleted. The reason these batteries go through such rigorous testing is they can be a fire risk in these...
I prefer the RE's over Code R also. They seem to have a far superior feel.
When I can afford it I'll change out for some Shimano's or Hope..MT7's are awesome but they suffer from pad alignment issues and make an annoying noise..
I've held off on updating my Levo for this reason. These software updates don't seem to go through the same QA Testing as maybe they should.
It may be hardware. However, remember that people on the forum only come on to post problems rather than the 1000's of Mahle's out there without issue...
Matt Lombardi was on a Spesh, not sure why it doesn't show up. Shows the level of competition, he finished bottom third and was by far the quickest rider I have ever ridden with..Maybe if they knew they weren't going to dominate the event not to have the brand listed with the rider.
They moved...
Have heard very few problems with the Mahle/SL so I think this is just an anomaly. Sorry to hear in any case. Sounds like you have got a good dealer there also..
I think you will sell the bike before it becomes a huge issue. If I know I'm not going to use it for a couple of weeks I'll charge to about 60-80%, got a timer on the plug from Amazon, was about £10..
You've also got 4 years on Battery/Motor/TCU so I wouldn't get too anxious about it..
Have you checked your Mission Control settings? After the firmware update, I believe they may have defaulted back to base settings or not as before.
Best settings I have found Eco 30/100 Trail 60/100 Turbo 100/100
Sounds like a TCU error or a sensor error in the battery as Mission Control should give you range remaining. It's wildly inaccurate though as it doesn't take into account so many factors.
You'll get to know your range. Your best indicator is the distance travelled and total height gained, all...
