Yea they replaced mine, second one did it also, which turned to a harsh grinding and that was replaced with my third since I bought it in Jan of this year. So far so good. But I did convert my stump jumper to electric for wet riding and as a back up. So we will see.

It looks like you kept all the mud off the viral areas reducing the need to over water near the motor area. Your rear fender goes around quite a bit did you notice a reduction dirt on your backside?

So took it into the LBS and specialized has sent out the new motor. They’re going to swap it out when they get a chance hopefully over the weekend. They never said what caused it. I think these motors have an ingress issue. I do wash it to get the mud off but I use specialized demo video that...

Do you remember where you heard about the mahle compatible chainring? The KSL is UDH so it should work from that perspective.

Has anyone had an issue with a squeaky motor either when rotating the cranks backwards or forwards when riding. It sounds like a rubber bushing or something on metal. Thoughts?

There is, I just installed a set of downhill TRPs. Which are fantastic. Super easy install, I mean as far as brakes go.

I was thinking about upgrading to Saints. How big of a deal is it to route the new hose through to the rear? Is it tube in tube all the way to the rear and it's no big deal or is it a drop the motor type of thing?
