E8000 Different battery level display between battery and head unit

Just recently I've been getting a different level between the battery and the head unit. They both start "full" but the head unit drops "blocks" quicker. I've not run the battery flay to see which one is correct. I do have different batteries and swap them around a wee bit. Any ideas?

Shimano BT-e6010 Spare Battery on a Bt-e8010 bike

I ride with one in a back pack quite a bit, with the straps adjusted correctly its fine. I'd say the Shimano is one of the better batteries for this as its quite compact. The extra range makes a huge difference to my riding

Shimano BT-e6010 Spare Battery on a Bt-e8010 bike

Its a bit mix and match I think. My wife has a Merida MTB with E6000 motor and BT-e6010 battery, I have a later Merida Hybrid with the E6000 motor but the BT-e8010 battery. motors the same but different battery mounts

    Shimano Parts delay

My left hand pedal arm has worked loose and worn the inside splines(on the pedal crank not the motor) TBH I had noticed some play but thought it was "normal" motor play as per previous threads and being an amputee I have an uneven power delivery so I accept I'm to blame. The part is labelled...

    Reliability

I'm just over 6000 km on mine and no real issues with the motor. Every now and again(3 times in 6k) I get a dry sounding creak on the down stroke one side that may come from the crank but could also be pedal. I spray some TF2 around the crank and pedals and it goes away. My charger packed up...

How do you carry your spare Shimano Battery

Same here, long touring rides on fairly easy trails the batery goes in the back pack. A day at Glentress etc the spare battery is in the van in the car park. Not foolroof but hopefully reduces the chances of falling onto my battery

Battery sleeve/cover for external e8010 battery?

One size fits all, loads of adjustment either way. My Merida is 39cm including frame and battery at the widest part but I reckon the sleeve will adjust an eay 10 cm either way and still fit Essort Medical Sports Calf Support Brace

    Shimano E6002KL

I have a Merida Expresso with that motor in and its been great, very well suited to the road, less torque than the e8000 but because of that more range. Shares the same 500wh battery as the e8000 so a nice bonus as I have a spare battery for my 160

    Shimano Battery Questions

I have a Merida Hybrid that has a e6000 motor and a e8010 battery which doubles up as a spare for my 160. I didnt know about the e8014 tbh, every days a school day

    Shimano Battery Questions

I have a spare battery and to be fair once in my pack and strapped in I don't really notice the weight. I've often thought a "get you battery" would be a good shout. Bearing in mind Shimano also do a downtube battery as well I'd like to see someone produce a bike with an internal battery and a...
