To me all these numbers mean nothing. Test it, will it do that number? Please report if it is accurate or not. When you talk range please mention your weight.
I never had a problem with Yamaha. My first in 2019 was HT 27+ Haibike.
It was stolen so i bought a Yamaha/Giant 2020 Stance E+.
Still just fun, never a problem. I use it plain, no display.
Maybe i am lucky, maybe it is because i never wash a bike, i just wipe off the excess.
I read about for...
If people buy Shimano they might be in a rush.
Plenty was written in the last 3 years to stay away.
The battery is often degrading way to fast.
The error codes are plenty.
The need for a third motor is no surprise.
If you do not like riding . . . . . shimano is your top choice.
One simple question, have you ever washed that bike?
Year after year my Ebike is trouble free and i keep reading about problems.
Is it because i never wash any kind of 2 wheels?
With 6 months of cold here i just wipe the excess off.
If my dealer sees me i need a tire or a chain.
I would not trust the 94%. I would find from a different source. I guess you are on Shimano?
They had complaints about shorter lives than expected. Your shop probably is tooled to look at it.
You might get a free battery, good luck.(That is if everything is equal, same tires, same weight)
That is not big news.
A system does not work, it was not ready but they sold it.
They switch name to avoid the bad reputation.
Old story, they do it all the time.
Marketing is what many buy, a nice packaging, a nice story.
Many bikes and Ebikes are geared for speed.
I often go for less teeth in front or more in rear.
This would help and imagine if you loose your assistance,
it is just a smart upgrade.
I am just a guy who enjoy the outdoors so i am no expert.
2 years ago i had an Haibike/Yamaha so it was kind of speak
a full Yamaha nothing specific coming from Haibike.
It got stolen, sniff.
11 months ago i got a new 2020 Giant/Yamaha and like my previous Ebike
all good. I guess most know Giant...
I guess this is to be expected. Any company and retailer can claim the battery is the best available in the world. If 3 years later people have some complaints they might say now we use new/better technology. Up to now i am putting my trust in Yamaha and i have no reason to change my position...
One thing i read is doing a full discharge might help because and my choice of words might be wrong to balance the whole battery just plan to reach empty close to home and expect a long charging time. If someone here does it it would be interesting to see if the battery that sort of speak went...
I am no expert but from my readings *a general average* is 7 Wh/km so 1 charge from a 500Wh is about 70 kms. If you scroll up to post #45 that is about Derek numbers. With 300 charges we might get about 21,000kms that is likely what i expect to do in 2 years without a car. The battery is...
I am not sure i understand you. If you used 10%(now 90% left) of one battery plus 10% from an other battery it sounds like you would have used 20% if you had 1 battery to do 7,411kms. From memory i read they suggest we buy a new battery when it reaches 70% wich would happen with your numbers...
