Completed the Palace to Palace ride yesterday for charity. Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle. 45 miles in 3h 37mins. Still 3 lights showing on the controller. I’m 71 in January. Did it together with my son on his clockwork bike, he couldn’t keep up on some of the steep hills ?

70 and 10 months. Always had a bike, but last few years I have struggled with the hills. Bought my Fathom E+2 Pro six months ago, ride it nearly every day. Doing the Palace to Palace on Sunday. 45 miles which I could never manage now on a clockwork bike.

37 miles on my bike today and still over half a tank left !

Thanks for the tip, I’ve just rung my house insurance (Lloyds) and they have added it on. Theft and accident damage for an incredible £4 a month !

Just bought a new Giant Fathom E+2. I have never bothered to insure any of my previous bikes, however the bike has a very bright colour scheme and will stand out against other bikes in a storage rack so I’m going to insure this one. Any recommendations on a good company please?
