63, retired and if we (the gaffer and I) do 30 miles when we're out we think we've done ok. We're getting fitter, or were until recently, so this hopefully would get better.
Mostly forestry roads, canal paths and the like but I like having the ability to wander off piste if the mood takes me...
I have a stem top mount on mine but used the reversed bar mount idea on the bosses bike. Can't remember where I saw it done but it's one of those simple but " why didn't I think of that" solutions.
It's very counter intuitive for us oldies isn't it?
I was told when I bought mine that it was better to charge little and often. More important to keep the battery indoors when it's cold, cold out.
