I have always bought locally. LBS were a bit clueless when the first e-bikes came about, so was tech training from the Bike brands, this has evolved quite a bit in the last few years, make sure your local shop is able to service your bike properly, which they should. 👍

I would definitely take a hard look into the new 2023 Stance (E+2) which seems to be within your budget. It has a renewed geometry, longer travels both front and rear, new motor (75Nm or 85Nm for the PRO model), colour display controller and better tires… Good Luck! 👍...

Could not have said it better... Giant Reign 2022 E+2 for me as well. 😄 Choosing again today I would eliminate small or boutique bike brands, but that's just me.
