I have 2 specialized roval wheels, one HG drive, one XD. I want to swap the freehubs and cassettes. The HG has a nut on the axle that you remove and the freehub slides off. The XD does not have a nut. How do I get the XD off? How is it held on?
Once I have both drivers out do I need to swap...
Erie singletrack allows them, one of the guys that helps out and rides frequently there has one, and it was posted on FB a while back. I've ridden there many times and also see other emtbs there. Super fun spot!
Not sure that's a fair comparison. Those are Dakar race bikes, quite different to their regular 450, and they are only making 80 of them. Rally is such a niche sport even if they made them in huge numbers and drove the cost down the majority of dirtbike riders still wouldn't buy one.
Dirtbikes? which is what's most equivalent here. $11k us for a top end KTM, that gets you fuel injection and traction control on the 4strokes. And cutting edge motors with incredible power to weight. They try to make them as light as possible, while enduring the stresses and without...
I have to agree with you. Here in the US power sports dealers are starting to carry emtbs and when you see a levo in the same shop as a KTM but with a higher sticker price, there is something wrong. I'm hoping as Yamaha KTM gasgas and Husqvarna join the segment they will keep their prices low...
Can't compare it to a Bosch but over the cutoff limit the Yamaha is a bit draggy and harder to pedal. The yam is a great motor with a lot of torque and requires very little cadence to get good power out of it.
Yes I have that on one bike, and they are good but still have some vulnerability. For racing bibs are the best option IMO....nothing like traveling for an event and having the day literally blown over a flat....lots of wasted money and time....a bib you don't have to worry about anything and no...
I've run Bib Mousse (all foam insert no air) in my Enduro dirtbike for flat protection, and like the dead/planted feel so I get where your coming from. If you don't care about weight on the ebike it's not a crazy idea. Ride what you like.
That drag is exactly the reason to consider a derestrict. I hear the Ep8 has very little drag above cutoff so maybe in that scenario it's less of a concern
For deristrict it's more a question of which ones are least likely to be an obvious warranty killer....don't get too hung up on that....ep8 is likely out, yamaha seems pretty easy and not as likely to throw red flags. That's all.
He just wants to be able to up the cutoff limit so the motor...
