Isle of Man, Cumbria or Northumberland

Yeah that's the main thing that puts me off Cumbria and the lake District. So. Touristy. To be honest Northumberland tickling my fancy quite a bit

Isle of Man, Cumbria or Northumberland

That's pretty much my exact thought processes. Isle of Man kinda seems like a condensed small version of the North of England to be honest

Isle of Man, Cumbria or Northumberland

I should clarify, the types of riding I enjoy the most is fir forests and rocky descents and climbs. I also really enjoy bike parks once in awhile.

Isle of Man, Cumbria or Northumberland

A bit of an odd question but, we are considering moving to one of these places and they all have their ups and downs and I'm just curious if anyone has any experience mountain biking in any of them because I've never actually mountain biked there.

My worst injury was a face plant into a face high tree across a local trail. 4 broken teeth, all at the top front, fractured jaw and a lot of blood everywhere Happily I have a good NHS dentist so you can't even tell lmao

    Goggles or glasses

I think I may have got ski goggles then lol, I got them like 5 or 6 years ago. They originally had foam covering the vents all the way round the goggles which noticeably improved ventilation and cooling. I didn't remove any of the foam that impacted comfort

    Goggles or glasses

For me it's cos almost all my trails are perpetually muddy or throws up a lot of dust and debris. I also find the security of goggles much more comfortable than glasses, along with fov. But each to their own
