Great story mate(y)
Love the original imagery as well as the new punk bird look, groovn.
Whats the story with the bird, reminds me of Roadrunner?
And Kenevo, thought you were a Levo lover ? something in the works ....! though Kenevo looks better on a shirt I reckon.
Looks good Rob.
I quite like the chin mount, though when I had it longer it would hit my chest on steep descents so now a bit higher.
Im not sure if the footage is any steadier than when mounted under visor where i normally have the Session, but trying a few more videos to compare.
Gopro chin...
Amazing fun day yesterday exploring old school trails here in W.A, Sam Hills training grounds.
Trying out Robs and Mctrails chin mount Gopro idea instead of under the visor I normally run with hero 4 session.
No need your to clarify mate. I can tell from your posts that your most likely a pretty advanced rider plus I find them informative and sometimes entertaining, your post on crashes was hilarious(y)
Not sure if your taking the micky but I had a good laugh at this, makes me sound serious...
oh come on Princess :ROFLMAO: manual machines are great fun.
But yea, not sure how it will translate to trails. i can manual myself outta trouble and play a bit between rollers , though not keep the balance for more than a few meters.
Thought it would be a grand way to see body position with...
This vid from the same day came about trying to show my family what we get up to, stopping and looking about, laughing and obviously talking in high pitched voices.
New Enduro stage for this year here in Western Australia at the little town of York.
Most of the bunting went up last weekend and a mate who rode then gave us a tour yesterday. Race day tomorrow.
So lush with awesome views, im still pumped even after an OTB on the first trail of the day.
The...
Never knew they did a 130mm, in Aus 27.5 first gen came with 140. They'll probably go a 160mm fork eventually, though perhaps getting too close to kenovo territory.
Im loving the Rev grips, bought them straight after reading Al Bonetas post (you legend(y)) and checking reviews, as like Kiwi I've tried most grips.
Too many years working with angle grinders and the like, having to stop on a DH trails as sometimes couldn't feel my braking fingers.
On the soft...
Cheers Tim29,
I like the expression "double tapped".
The Levo as far as i can recall was designed around a 140mm fork, but yea, defiantly noticably slacker now with the extra 10mm.
Cant believe i didn't think to change stem, it was the first thing i did yrs ago when i did the same to my...
Thanks Mabman,
Part of the problem might be the tyre is DH casing and weighs about 1.4 kilo, so a tyre with less rotational mass and a shorter stem as tim29 suggests is something i should try
Saving up for a rear 29er wheel to try, though part of the reason i like the bigger wheel up front is the cornering experience, it just makes or made the bike whip around corners.
Off and on for the past year or so I’ve been riding my Levo with a 29er front end, 2.5 DHF, love it on my acoustic Trance so though id give it a whirl and it worked a treat .
Recently added a pike airshaft in my 2016 levo to increase to 150mm.
Rode with the original wheel then a few days ago...
