In really muddy conditions I wear ex army surplus Gortex over trousers over a thin base layer , drop them in a carrier bag after the ride a jet was them when home.
However I have just ordered some Decathlon Rockrider water resistant trousers after reading some good reviews.
So look forward to...
I also noticed the price of Muc off seems to have gone through the roof so I decided on a change of brand
After a quick Google of best cleaners I noticed Oxford mint got good write ups as a motorcycle cleaner so I thought I'd give it a try as I ride motorbikes as well.
It seems as good just...
Yes they probably will, they do on my 2022 Cube
I have rerouted the Kiox wire as I noticed it was getting trapped between the stem and false cross bar , the cables can be pushed to one side
Thought I'd try one of these from a company called Airbike as it's less than half the price of the Shimano XT that came fitted . I've done a couple of rides and so far so good, can't really tell any difference when shifting gear (y)
I have just sent my shock to Fox Silverfish for a service/warranty claim due to it knocking and so far I've been impressed by the service
Good comms plus a quick turn around.
I posted the shock off around mid day on Monday and it's on the way back to me already, should be here by tomorrow...
I live in the North and do a lot of wet muddy winter riding
My Cube came fitted with a magic Mary and a big Betty fitted and I've been really pleased with them, especially the side grip on slippy off camber stuff
Wheelbase have a demo day on May 13th at Hamsterly forest
I know it's a long way from where you are located but they might run something else closer to you or you could make a weekend of it as it's a great place to ride if you've never been before...
Yeah it would
It will charge my 750wh Bosch battery, there is some lost when using the AC output of the Jackery so when charging mine 1% of the Jackery equates to 1% of the Bosch 750wh battery if that makes sense.
So if my bike battery is at 40% it takes 60% out of the Jackery to charge it...
For the bike in a roundabout way.
Just fitted a solar panel to the van roof in order to charge my Jackery and hopefully have the odd off grid weekend away.
Getting 82 watts of imput from the panel on an over cast day which isn't too bad, the panel is 130w so it'll probably take a couple of days...
I also get lost quite often but I have started using Komoot along with OS maps
My Cube has the Bosch smart system so Komoot displays the ride on my Kiox 300 display and acts as a sat nav which is really useful, I find the trouble using my phone to navigate is the battery doesn't last the ride...
I agree Kiox is great when connected to your phone using Komoot , the phone battery lasts a lot longer as the phone screen isn't constantly illuminated
I've had mixed success with it and prefer to use Gorilla tape, but most tape doesn't stick very well when it cold outside.
I find most tape is better when it's applied on warm days, when doing mine recently I made sure I applied the tape indoors after warming it in the oven for a few minutes to...
If I can remember rightly I got 10% off mine when I created an account and signed up for the newsletter
It was a pain in the backside to fit tho 😕
Kinda wish I'd took the lbs up on his quote of £75 😂
