I think you might have misunderstood me. I'm not out there doing the same distance as mtb in a shorter time. I'll do the same time or longer and go for more distance more speed, more laps.
I don't get how people cant get a workout in higher power levels. I just push until I hit the limiter...
I have everything turned up on boost. Factory settings for Emtb, then auto is turned down to match a couple of mates with tour mode and eco is turned down to be similar to mtb.
Yep, and from a cnc manufacturing perspective it made even less sense.
Once you optimize the design, tool path and jigging the time to machine parts remains the same. Where losses occur is between part change and tool changes. You just cant go, we are busy this week, lets machine faster...
I personally wouldn't ride an ebike if it was off 50% of the time. I'd stick to my mtb. E turned off is horrendous.
But I ride it like I stole with assistance on. So I get a good work out going faster for longer.
From the sound of things Leo went to the investors for another cash injection to get through a cash flow pinch and they said NO forcing the insolvency. So I doubt it was his call at all and though they had been struggling for some time as evidenced with their lack of ability to control the...
Yeah, It wont be fun. But not impossible.
7075 isn't easily weldable. My immediate thought process is if there is a delamination issue of swingarms. Drill and bolt the swingarm with button head cap screws. and or bolt/clamp and glue the swing arm back together then carbon wrap it.
Neither...
Well if the voima ever dies this RS 180 will be on the top of my list. It hits all the geo numbers I like.
The only spec I don't like is the over leveraged shock at 2.77.
Choo choo choo.....wocka wocka wocka
Ah haha.
Smashed a km or so on a train track at full pace full power.
So much fun. Man that voima suspension is freaking awesome.
I think if you are a hard charger before the e then you will be on the e.
I'm fitter. I added a day or 2 to my existing riding. Ps I still myn 50% of the time.
That's exactly what we did. Oranised an old school dh race series down farm paddocks.. we roped of an entertaining course, dug a few basic features in and rode it like we stole it.
Here's some of my boy sending it.
Fun times. We are a similar speeds at the moment. The first dh race he i beat him by 3 seconds and the second he beat me by 3.
Its good times at the moment as we are similar speeds, me on the E and him on the mtd. The first dh I beat him by 3 seconds, this time he bead me by 3 seconds.
Your enduro races sound like XC races to me with uphill timed. On ours its only the down or downish sections. The transition to the next down is not timed.
I agree if you are racing up up then you have no chance against full power.
Are the races quite flat? For the DH an Enduro stuff i'm doing there is sweet FA advantage in E assistance unless there is a really flat section. Most often you hit motor cut out almost immediatly (assuming you arent chipped) then you are slower than mtb. In the case of the enduro, I think i'd...
