    Fazua Trial

Fazua have introduced a new model 60 which has only the battery as removable. Does anyone know if the 50 will be discontinued? I had a quick spin on a Zesty on boost felt less powerful than my SL on boost but didn’t ride very far. Fazua felt smooth and the motor and battery was easily removed...

    New Fazua Ride 60 motor

Does this replace the Ride 50 or is addition? If it replaces then are we going to see a new XC bike from Trek with this motor?

Whyte haven’t cut a whole in the downtube like most of the other Bosch designs which means they can loose a bit of weight and lower the c of g. It’s a bit more fiddling to remove the battery though. I’m 6ft 3.5 ins. Nicolai are a quality constructed bike built in their own factory in Germany...

Ebike for very tall rider. Orbea Wild?

Around here (FOD) the Whyte is a popular option. The Bosch motor is reliable and powerful. It’s in the heavyweight category though. Geometry for a taller rider is ok, I’ve ridden an XL but not as good as my Nicolai. If the stem on the Whyte is 35mm, one could consider a 50mm perhaps?

Just thought of two more that have pretty good numbers: Commencal Power SX and Lapierre GLP2 Overvolt.

Reach is the measurement you need to consider. A longer reach also enables a designer to steepen the seat tube, which puts the rider in a better position when seated climbing. Imo bike with good numbers in this respect are the Kenevo, Nicolai Eboxx , Marin Alpine E2, Santa Cruz Bullit. I can’t...

Ebike for very tall rider. Orbea Wild?

For your height imo minimum reach 520. This means S5 Kenevo or Nicolai. Nicolai go up to 550. Specialized S6 around 535 might happen later this year. 510 would work perhaps with a 40 or 50 stem. Santa Cruz Bullit would be another option but expensive.

Sorry to hear. May not be the only bike company cancelling orders. I read that Canyon have cancelled orders to the U.K. atm. There’s a World shortage of parts is my understanding. Anybody else know more?

Ebike for very tall rider. Orbea Wild?

OP and others looking for a long reach ebike: Nicolai Eboxx are the longest. Next are the Specialized S5 Kenevo’s. Hopefully they may introduce an S6 ebike sizing next year. Most of the other brands XL or XXL are around 515mm reach which at 6ft 3 in and above is not ideal in my experience with a...

6’4’’ 300 LBs. Trek Rail 7 or Turbo Levo ?

OP, Specialized sizing numbers on some bikes go to S5 but we might see this applied and expanded on new bikes to come. S6 would probably be around 530 reach.

Ebike for very tall rider. Orbea Wild?

Steeper seat angles are a good thing for climbing. If 6/7 then Nicolai will make a 555 reach I believe.

Nicolai eboxx 535 reach option for 6/4 to 6/5. 520 reach option 6/0 to 6/3.
