Twisted Ankle? how long to recover? Can i prevent it happening again?

I'm recovering from a broken ankle, a couple of screws and 10 weeks later back on the bike but not yet ready for proper trails. I wouldn't mess about, go to A&E, get it E-rayed, if not broken it may need a boot and some weeks rest before starting physio. It may also be nothing, but why...

Let's get the best e-bike for Downhill

Another vote for the Giant Reign, have an E+1 and it feels unshakable when hammering down trails. 63º HA with a flip chip, Fox 38, great brakes, climbs great, very little to touch the spec for the money. Stick some Assegai DH tyres on it and away you go. Local support for when things go wrong...

New wheel set needed, what's strong?

So went with the Hopes, chunky at 2.4 kilos but hopefully that translates to strength. Put a Nukeproof Ard on the back for good measure. €550 all in, happy with that.

New wheel set needed, what's strong?

I had a set of Carbon wheels from Stuart and couldn't agree more, outstanding wheels and service if you are looking for Carbon. This time out though I'm going Alu.

New wheel set needed, what's strong?

Running around 25psi in the rear with a DHF DD casing. No insert, I may have to rethink that if I do replace these wheels.

New wheel set needed, what's strong?

Not too concerned about the weight, but heavy usually means strong!

New wheel set needed, what's strong?

Mullet and Aluminium, looking at Hope Fortis 30 as an option.

New wheel set needed, what's strong?

Wheels on the Reign are made of cheese, some impressive dings in the rear after 4 months. Any recommendations for a good value but strong wheelset?

Anyone regretted switching to an emtb?

A lot of us felt that way, then got an eBike and now have a dusty analogue bike that only gets used when the ebike is out of action.

Data tagging for bikes - new Muc-Off product.

New to this tag thing but sounds like a good idea. Any tag recommendations for Android?

Hey guys, I have a 2.5 insert in my 2.6 rear tyre, my question is if that can be the cause of a rattle when going over chunky stuff?

Yes with some such as Nukeproof ARD which are known for this as they stretch, not sure about the other inserts.

Battery, insert at home or trailhead?

New to this, anything wrong with inserting the battery at home, sticking it on the rack and driving to the trails, versus inserting it at the trailhead? The 2 Bike rack is rated for ebikes.

    Battery contact cleaner advice?

Thanks Mike, I was under the impression this had to be done after every spin in winter to make sure everything is dry. You reckon that is overkill?

    Battery contact cleaner advice?

Can someone advise what is the procedure for using contact cleaner after a spin when cleaning the bike? Do you spray both battery contacts once removed and contacts in the frame? Leave to dry naturally or wipe off? TIA

Bike racks, bike suspended or supported?

Have always used a two bar mounted Maypole scissor rack. Never an issue with a 15kg bike, but concerned that having 25kg hanging off it will be too much stress on the frame. Worst case scenario is the frame actually getting dented in those areas. Is there some kind of rule about when a bike is...
