Would be great on an SL platform

SL Bikes are only for fit riders.

Always me. A flickable lightweight chunk crusher makes for much fun.

SL Bikes are only for fit riders.

My findings (with all bikes in turbo), I found with the SL (both LSL and KSL) that the range was roughly comparable with 500w FF bike and with the Range extender comparable to a 625/700w ff. All times I had around 5% more than the others (bar the Shimano, that I had at least 15/20% more) Of...

    Analog MTB VS Light E-MTB

There’s a bike for everyone I suppose, glad you found the right bike for you. Back to the OP, a proper well set up lightweight ebike is the logical evolutionary step up from an analogue bike.

    Analog MTB VS Light E-MTB

I had my old Gen 1 Levo SL at 18.5 kg with a full enduro set up. 17.5kgs is easily achievable while still having a solid trail/xc build

    Analog MTB VS Light E-MTB

Didn’t follow your path but swapped between my brothers Nukeproof Giga (base spec) and my custom KSL and the KSL (motor off) still rode/peddled better even with a 1.5kg deficit. Something like a lightweight Levo SL build would be a great alternative to an analogue bike. You will most likely...

Most durable drivetrain brand / parts for a 2022 levo - need my third cassette in 8 months and I want to replace the lot with something durable

Save your self time and money and go a Shimano 10speed setup. Will be your cheapest and probably strongest set up.

    Suspension travel

No but like anything there are pro’s and con’s. Way more pro’s in my opinion.

Sounds like another vote for 85nm while shit canning a lightweight

My new bike was improperly setup and dangerous... what would you do?

I wanna know if he learnt to wrench or if he’s still alive?

Is the Lightweight low powered market about to kick off ?

Lol to the comment someone made re lack of range, I don’t know what they’re on about. My SL’s with an extender still outlasted all FF bikes with both 625 and 700 batts. My KSL with Dual crowns and extender weighed in at 21kgs compared to the FF Kenevo same mods at 26kgs. That 5kgs made a very...

Is the Lightweight low powered market about to kick off ?

People seem to always say ‘you can almost get a FF weight down to an SL weight’. Not with like for like mods, there is always going to be on average a 6 to 7kg difference. Period. That difference in weight is huge and gives a totally different ride feel. If you think they’re the same or similar...

    Ridewrap or Invisaframe?

I think you were as I have had great dealings with them. At least you found what works for you. Any protection is better than no protection!

    Ridewrap or Invisaframe?

Either you are very unlucky or you have your brands mixed up? I’ve had 5 ride wrap kits and all kits fit perfectly. Joins were much tighter and the kit covered more frame than invisiframe. Instructions for which piece went where was very simple to read.

    Too much travel?

The title says too much travel? Well that’s really a personal thing. If it works for you then no it’s not too much travel. Everyone is different and everyone perceives things in different ways. I love big travel ebikes! I have a dodgy back so the more the better. I also enjoyed navigating dual...

    Too much travel?

I ran 200mm b/f on 29s on my old Kenevo and absolutely loved it. I mainly ride enduro/Dh trails which was were it shined. It obviously didn’t have the “pop” of a shorter travel bike but you can always tune the suspension firmer to counter that. I went as far as adding more air here and there but...

    Sad nerdy Saturday night thought...

I’d buy one. I spent the last 4 rides on an Giga and it has re invigorated my desire to train during the week. Don’t have the luxury of riding outdoors during the week atm so training indoors on my bike while charging it would be great. Could use it anywhere! Can you add an incline function?

Do you ride your EMTB with people on acoustics?

I ride with both ebikes and non e bikes and just adjust power to suit. Even on the KSL standard ECO still has more poke that non E. The last couple rides I have ridden with the motor off and have been surprised how fit I have become since going the SL route. Riding flat out with FF ebikes is a...
