THATS NOT OLD! 82 here and still going but I do catch myself using EMTB mode more these days.
I thought my R&M Delight Mountain was heavy @ 27kg so I dont feel quite so bad to hear about your 26.3
Have fun it doesnt get much better than an EMTB.
Say Hi to the Redwoods for me ....will be visiting in January and plan to spend time in that splendid area with my family...
You have some amazing trails..... Love it
Not far away in Long Melford ...about 300 ft above the sea but could be fooled into thinking the sea has got nearer.!!!!
If you fancy a very muddy ride out give me a shout .....bet the old railway line is pretty sticky after all the walkers.
Looks as if we might have a local group brewing...
Quite normal.....mine look like that after riding farm trails after hedge cutting.......Riding in stubble gave me quite a large cut in the sidewall.....that stuff is sharp ..beware. Tyre plug fixed it but tyre now sports quite a number of them.
Another vote for Stans race ...only one that...
Nice bike. Hopefully you will not need spares.
One tip...unless you know what you are doing DO NOT dismantle your rear suspension......I did and it cost me a trip to the LBS to re assemble it!
Have fun
Yep ...you need an e bike !,
Masses of fun researching the market ,masses of heartache over the price , masses of doubt if you have bought the right one .............BUT. MASSES of fun once you have one!
Join the joyous .
news this morning was featuring Strava posts boasting 70+ miles etc so the B*****D media hype it up and drag out some nay sayers who want to screw it for the rest of us....
Just keep your ride info to yourself after all it is only you that cares if you did 20,40,70 miles in 13.67 seconds ...
Another take on the extended mudguard theme.
Added a length of old inner tube to the front of my Mudhugger , bit like a mudflap but at the front .It keeps most of the crud out of the lower mechanism very well.
Its about 9 inches of big tube ."persuaded " by heat gun not to curl. Glued and...
You 60+ riders are mere BOYS:giggle: .....@79 I love my Focus BUT possibly facing Hip Op (not a band) but if fitness is a factor in speedy recovery I hope to score well and will l still be able to enjoy my passion...and my E bike !:) meantime much exercise might keep it away.
Good choice peeps ....dont upgrade until you have ridden it for a few weeks (except to go Tubeless)...you might like it as it is...so you can save your self some ££$£$£
I'm interested in your comments re Histon shop......bought mine there 18 months ago and felt the "manager" was not really interested in making sure my bike was properly set up or even the right size for me .....partly my fault as a greenhorn but never- the- less should have been better...
Welcome .(y)...When you fancy a ride through Thetford Forrest High Lodge let me know ...Been round it a few times on my own but it would be good to have some encouragement for The Beast.:devilish:
Chers and Good Luck:D
