The idea with a 9 or 10 speeds is you have the benefit of less shifting. I rarely use the 11T so i use
9 speeds. I only need 8 shifts to go over my range. There is no good reason to copy a regular bike
for an electric assisted bike. The 12S is crazy in my mind. It is just to ask 8,000 to...
I have no idea about distance, elevation, i only use an old 5$ watch.
After 3 years on Ebikes i found most can be drained in 70 minutes
or stretched to 4 Hrs.
Being a light weight rider i can do 90 minutes to 5 Hrs with my 500Wh.
I moved close to the trails so i can do morning rides recharge...
I guess this is why why i like proven products and for me new products are not attractive until they prove their value.
The new one is not always better.
The point is a few years ago many Ebikes had 70nm now many have 85nm so they cannot be compared.
More power with more energy gives about the same range.
I only speak french and english. I undertand you did 58.6 kms in just over 3 Hrs but many words i have no clue what they mean.
Maybe your cadence was 73 on average? ???
What is your opinion about the Nobby Nic?
Again and again they are selling dreams.
Bigger # = bigger price, it works for them.
Some say the 750Wh do not deliver,
some say the 250-300Wh extenders do not deliver.
Who did a smart review and warned potential buyers?????
I agree that the **full potential** is different than the real life potential.
I think a problem is marketing. To sell they went from 50nm to 70, 75, 85nm.
I am no engeneer but if a system is more powerfull it burns more energy.
The small 1270cc motor from a 1980 Toyota Tercel needed very little...
I started riding Yamaha Ebikes 3 years ago.
My system has 5 lights so each morning i start at 5 lights, full charge.
From hundreds of days my observation is i receive about 22% of the potential on each of the firtst 4 lights.
My last is time to reach home, maybe 10-12% of the full potential.
