I snapped lever on my Fabio MT5 Ltd edition brakes in a crash so swapped the levers to my Loic Bruni ones much nicer shape than standard Magura levers

The only reason is it would invalidate warranty, Magura only want you to use their brake fluid otherwise crack on

I wouldn’t recommend 2.4 rotors the MT7 calipers sit closer than MT5s I have run with 2.3 TRP rotors & Ali express levers similar to new Clark’s brakes. Had issues so Gone back to MT5 levers & calipers better modulation than with Shimano levers which are very on off power. I run the Loic Bruni...

It’s exactly same with the floating rotor there is a hole & a Magura magnet fits in the hole.

Maybe olive was all good for old levers but not the new ones. It’s just working out what’s changed. Pull off cover to 8mm nut & pull lever few times, any slight oil on hose?

This technique does work not hadoil seeping from bleed screw before only hose at lever or caliper end. Mine have been pulling to bar sometimes where run aftermarket (Ali Express)lever with Magura caliper

Other idea being flip flop designs to swap levers over so bleed screw is on top side of the lever

Check to see if there is any oil on the hose, around where it joins to the lever it’s might not like the olive & barb used or the 8mm bolt into lever could be nipped up a bit more

Need to also replace Sram hose with Magura hose. Sram Dot5 Magura Royal Blood/mineral oil so don’t mix well!

You can get the MDR-C rotors one piece rotor, have on the rear of my Rise in 203 & 220 MDR-P on front

One finger Loic Bruni levers although recently swapped levers to some Ali Express ones which are great

I like my MT5s I do use the 4 individual pads from the MT7 also the brakes perform best with 2mm thick rotors

I don’t know if link will work but this is a good technique for a good bleed to finish off

These levers are great not your typical Magura shape more like Shimano

They are still Magura levers but the Loic Bruni ones , now know as HC-W levers a much nicer shape than normal maguras

I run MT5 with aftermarket levers

Thought most of ally levers were aftermarket ones! But seem all are or carbon
