I know you've already bought some but for future reference and anyone else that finds this thread uberbikes eMatrix pads are really good as well.

I use a combo of all trails, trail forks and komoot. They all fail to pick up trails in certain local areas though so I haven't found a perfect app. One thing I like about all trails is a feature called life line which sends frequent live updates of your ride to selected contacts, great when solo.
