Hey all!
First post on new sub forum!
So got my new Vitus Sentier VR bike and love it. Genually really like it. But going to use it more for XC in winter time to keep fitness up and some winter adventures. It came with 2.6 magic Mary upfront and 2.6 Nobby Nic on back. I’ve just bought a 2.6...

Description: Hi
Many of you may know me from this forum. Sorry have no pictures of my bike at the moment but just putting the feelers out for my e bike to see what interest I get.
I have a 2018 vitus e sentier with...
So I fell off my bike today and it looks like on the highest gear some teeth have broke off causing the chain to come off when selecting this gear. The cassette was a Shimano hg500 and a 10 speed. Should I just buy the same cassette or is it worth upgrading and does it make a difference...
My work has just started doing this and I keep getting to the end of the application to request a £1000 certificate and then keep closing it down thinking *do I really need another bike* haha. Is it worth it? Do you actually make a saving? Was thinking about putting towards and getting a full...
Sorry this may have been mentioned before. But I'm a little confused by it....is this a downgrade to the e8000 steps? The new Vitus e sentier and e sommet both have the e7000 steps...but then when you go to the VR models it's the e8000 steps?
But I've just got a e sentier 2018 with the e8000...
Just for the reason of being lighter and feeling like I can throw it around a bit more and not worry as much about a mechanical failure in a off...but then....at the bike park today I literally got about 13 runs in of a certain trail I love in about 2.5 hours. I was passing people 3x on the way...
So after swapping my 2.5 Dhf to 2.3 high rollers (which I'm happy with) and watching even the guys at the bike shop really struggle and say to me "let's hope you don't get a puncture in middle of nowhere, is there anything I can do so I could at least ride back to car? Any tyre weld or anything...
I mean bike bits and bobs! Ha
Just finished a ride and always take battery off cover most the bike in muck off, use a rag and wipe down and a brush and a quick brush round mech...then a medium hose setting on the hose pipe gun and a quick wash down till all muck is off including tyres, Quickly...
So basically got my front tyre off which took ages!!! Then saw that the tyre chain reaction cycles have sent me is the wrong size. They have sent me 29ers. So went to Halfords as they said they had the maxxis ardenta in. They then tried to fit the wheel to the rim (ar30) and said the 2.25...
Any universal kick stands or anything anyone can recommend for my Vitus so when out and about in the fields I'm not always laying in ground or trying to find a tree?
Also are they easy to fit if there is any?
Cheers.
For giving me one of the best days I can remember in a long time. My parents took our daughter to the sea side and my partner got her new e bike delivered today so we charged and took it for a test ride. 20 miles and 4 hours later we came back home. We had so much fun and stopped for a drink and...
Haibike SDuro Hardlife 2.0 27.5" Women's Electric Mountain Bike - 2018
We got it for a deal for £1300 with trading in her mum's old £50 bike and some haggling.
For this price and the riding she does i think it should be great. Any input even if it's constructive criticism is fine :)
So just looking out of curiosity still for the wife and saw this
Voodoo Zobop Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike - 16", 18", 20" Frames
Wondering if anyone knows why they would have put a £300 increase on this bike? Again why are e bikes going up in price and not the other way. Even though...
Can anyone suggest anything? Hardtail would be fine looking at £1600 or under?
She really is not a hard rider or even close. Generally just a mum rider. Just been out with my daughter on back of mine and my wife on her cheapish acoustic hardtail. Anyway she really is impressed/annoyed how I...
And they ended there email with 'keep an eye on our website and social media in the next few weeks, big stuff coming'....sounds promising. Seem to be amazing value for the bikes you get.
So now heading into colder weather I e been wondering more and more how to store my bike. Battery in house every night? Whole bike in house ? Leave bike in shed with blanket over it?
So thought it would be a great idea to start a thread where people can post there tips and tricks on looking...
I bought online and I'm currently going through a warranty claim with my bike creaking abit when pedalling and also dropper post hasn't worked since day one. I bought from chain reaction. Although bike is ridable and fine to do so I want it to be right and while in the first 30 days put in a...
