I had that problem, but I created it bye pinching the wheel sensor wire with a motor bolt. It’s a 2 wire sensor and can be checked with an ohm meter. It should show some ohms and then pull down to about zero when the magnet passes the sensor. I just repaired the wire myself, but the wires are...
I usually offer them to ride it and explain I have health issues that wouldn’t allow me to ride otherwise. Plus who cares if you have hills or wind, right. Different mind set now?
Check that rear cassette, I had a bearing go out on my Trek and it was noisy like yours but not that bad, because I got it fixed right away. Didn’t want it to damage anything else or lockup and cause a crash. Plus it was under warranty yet, haven’t had any problems since and just turned over...
If you get a different one, you may have to drop the motor some to route the cable. Had to on my Powerfly which included taking off the cranks to get the covers out of the way to reach one bolt.
You can check the sensor wiring, etc with an ohm meter. When the sensor passes over the magnet the reading will be pulled down. Had to figure this out when I had pinched and broke a wire to the sensor putting in a dropper post. ? no problems with over 2,000 miles since.
The chain is what’s causing it to pile up there. You need something like a chain cover like they have on some motorcycles or a way for the mud to get scraped off before the chain. My 2 cents
A friend got me into mountain biking at 65. I could only do about 3 miles of local trails and another 2 mile section that would kill me for the rest of the day. What I found out is that I had exercise induced asthma. I tested a EBike and couldn’t stop smiling. Ordered one that was $1000 off in...
I’ve been using paraffin wax on my 10 speed chain after cleaning them and heated up in a crockpot. I don’t pull the chain out till the wax starts to set up some. That way when I hang it up it doesn’t all run off. This has been working good for me because I have sandy soil where I ride. I still...
I have a 2018 Trek and haven’t had any issues in over 2,000 miles. I see allot more motor issues with the Levo on this forum then I think you will have with a Bosch. I do here that the rear hub on the Trek is a weak spot, but haven’t had any issues myself.
He maybe right about the camera. I had an iPhone XR that the camera went to shit. Lucky for me it was under warranty yet. I use a Ram X Grip that had the quick clamp the was more solid. I switched the the arm mount now and don’t have it as tight and have been ok since. I also use theses on my...
Let’s hope they are all strong enough where the topping out of the seat tube happens inside. That would be the weak spot I would think. Might not show up right away, but could weaken later and come apart. ?
I use the Ram mount X Grip and have for years, motorcycle, snowmobile and bike. I’ve used it to track a bunch of trail for TrailForks.
Don’t buy the quick clamp, found out that the ball comes off when you crash and hit it?
This mount was also more solid and I had my IPhone camera stabilization...
