I get what you say, but I don't think SC has any software of their own. It's just standard EP801 firmware and standard firmware on the battery side (which probably cannot be updated since they had to change the batteries to new ones).
I'm also expecting a new Bullit in 2024 and if I would have to guess - as mentioned - one of the updates will be a change to Darfon battery. It's a shame that Shimano hasn't introduced a larger battery with the same form factor as the E8036 630Wh.

I'm 184cm and ride XL. Doesn't feel too big at all and I like the stability - after all this is a plow bike. But if you like short cockpit and supposed better maneuverability then you could go for L. No right or wrong selection here...
Does anyone have a new 2023 Bullit (with the new colors) or Heckler (with the battery cover gap fixed)? Did it come with the updated EP801 motor? I believe you will see this from eTube app on your phone (or computer if you have SM-PCE02 dongle).

"Bullit takes a more no limits approach. 170mm travel, a 38mm fork and DoubleDown tires reflect the smashability of this platform. This is a bike for riders who seek V10 level terrain that's...
Quick question: How much you guys have stanchion tube visible on the Fox 38 170mm on Bullit? Please measure only the visible part when bike is resting. Just did a service on mine and wonder if I have a minor stuck down situation...
Santa Cruz has a 3-year lifecycle for their models, so I would expect updated Bullit around November 2023. At this point we are half-way through, with new colorways probably coming out soon.
