Mine kept falling over too but by sheer coincidence I found a roll of insulation tape with exactly the same inside diameter cardboard roll as the outside diameter as the grease gun, firmly inserted into the insulation tape it now stands up rock steady 👍👍
My son bought me exactly the same one too for Christmas 2021, I thought it wouldn’t be strong enough to hold my bike but I’ve swung from it so my bike has nothing to worry about 🤣🤣yeah it swings about a bit but it’s great for lubing my chain and similar jobs as it’s almost eye level, sweet bit...
Roughly 108lb’s lost 👍 I envy people who can eat whatever they want to and don’t gain weight, it’s the total opposite for me and pretty miserable at times, I have to exercise to loose weight and keep it from coming back, if I don’t work or go to the gym I can gain weight by pounds a week...
I’m not a massive fan of Park tool tools but I did buy one of their grease guns and it’s pretty good, I was a bit pissed about some of the paint flaking off at the base but hey ho it still works and works well, it produces a tiny stream of grease from the nozzle which is perfect for delivering...
I lost almost 7 stone to be able to ride a bike but since then I’ve put 3 stone back on even though I was doing over a 100 miles a week, I’m back on the diet but it’s slow going despite going to the gym 4 times a week, I’ve had a few health issues but hopefully that’s all behind me and I’m able...
It looks like one of the jockey wheels is slightly thicker so that might be the reason but it’s no thicker than my old Superstar Components jockey wheel so I see no reason to use the supplied screw 😉👍
Strangely enough yeah, I thought it might be an oversight but for some weird reason they come with only one, I watched a couple of YouTube videos and they were all the same too, I’m not bothered because I used my oil slick screws anyway so no harm done 😉
As my old jockey wheels are looking a little tatty and not spinning as freely as I’d like I thought I’d buy some new Hope jockey wheels to carry on with the red accent on my bike, also, this is the attention to detail I like with Hope, the bag the jockey wheels came in is heat sealed across the...
I bought a Hope post mount for the front of my bike but only because I fitted bigger rotors, if I didn't fit bigger rotors, the front calliper would have fitted straight onto my old sram post mount, I know this because I tried it with the smaller rotor first, just out of curiosity, the back...
I chose Tech4 V4, it was an absolute doddle threading the hose through the frame, took all of a minute using a Sram barb tool, just used the old hose to pull the new hose through, I bought a new grommet for my frame as the old one had two holes and I only needed one, that was a lot more...
I’m right handed but I find myself switching from right foot to left while riding downhill, I find it helps with my balance and also it depends on the terrain I’m riding too, ie berms etc
