What length shock did you get? The 52.5 isn’t a normal size. Did you Find a 52.5 or go with a 55 or 50 stroke?

This right here is my dream build. I’d really like to hear about the 160 fork with the coil shock overall feel.

I’ve been thinking I want to go to 160 for a little more travel but ideally slacken the bike out a little more. But I’m concerned slightly because there is so much talk about not adding a long fork. How is the 170 lyrik feeling?

I know you can find them in other threads, I just wanted to have a place to go where the focus is on upgrades and the results from those upgrades. I would hope to see those posts in this thread too.

Haven’t seen a thread dedicated to custom builds. I’m looking to try a few different builds, 160mm fork, maybe mullet build. But in the mean time if anyone had already done some customization let’s see them and hear your thoughts.

I bought the SL because on my demo of a full fat I thought it was over kill. I rode in Eco the whole time and wished it was even less. I like the option to get a boost after a while to do another lap where I normally would give up. I weight 175lbs and the SL has plenty of power in boost to pull...

Can someone help me understand shock measurements a little better. The spec sheet says the shock is 52.5x210mm, but I’m only seeing 50x210 or 55x210 in the dpx2. Do I go for the 55? If so do I need to change out anything?

Went out for a ride and realized the aluminum bike does come with the mud guard at the rear pivot point. Is this just because it’s less risk to the frame? Hard to tell with the mud, but you can see the difference in the pictures on specialized website as well between the carbon and the aluminum.

Large. Also I forgot to mention I put Carbon handlebars on too. So there’s that slight variation, but that might be the difference of the pedals. So still in the ball park.

19.7kg with my OneUp Composite pedals. (Sorry, too lazy to take them off right now) And tubes. But I’m installing cushcore, so that probably won’t change much for me.

6'1" on a large. So yeah, sticking with 150 sounds like it might be a good idea. Rob, do you know if the flip chip in low is 66deg or is it 65.5?

Do you have plans to upgrade the fork? I'm eventually wanting to upgrade to a lyrik I think, but leaning towards a 150 still even though I would love a 160 to slacken the bike a little. (because I've seen several mention it's not recommended to go to 160) Also thinking of doing a coil for a bit...
