1Up. Its been on the back of my truck for nearly 4 years. My truck has never been garaged kept. Its always outside in the weather. The rack still looks in great shape. There is nothing on the rack that will rust, corrode, or rot. It made a believer of me. In fact, even one of my friends is...
I still haven’t hit a jump or drop big enough to bottom out the fork. I have come pretty close but the three volume spacers are working very well for my weight (170lbs).
I bought my Fox 38 and mudguard from Dirt Merchant Bicycles. He is a small time bike shop that sells most of his product through Pinkbike. That’s where I found him. I searched fox 38 in the buy and sell section and his ad came up. Very easy to work with. He was able to get me the Orange fork...
stop it guys.
just stop it.
my wallet cant take all this abuse!
I just got my first ebike/Levo 3 months ago and Im loving it, but im also wondering about how those new SLs are. I wish I could test ride one day.
Ah I see now. I guess I wasn’t really sure when I was reading and looking at those pictures you posted.
I’m heading out for just my 3rd trail ride this morning on this fork. I’m still running the reccomended settings cause I haven’t really found a need to change it yet. However this next...
I hope you can get your front end caps sorted out so that you can install your new fork.
Have you tried out the rear X2 shock yet? Its on my xmas list for this year!
ill wait for someone else to give it a go. Ive tried expensive saddles before and they were usually very stiff and uncomfortable. This design looks promising though.
My post started doing this too. It seems like it only operates properly in the upper positions, but it wont lock into any position on the lower half. I was just about to contact my LBS to see if its a common problem.
I had to get my first motor replacement back in mid-May after just 463 miles. I just checked my motor serial number and it looks like its a Jan 24 2020 motor. I hope its a good one! 138 miles on this new motor so far.
I would reccomend:
Invisframe tape for the frame and fork (well worth the money and time invested installing it. It took me about 3 hours but it makes it so much easier to clean the bike too.)
SicoMTB Mudguard or Central Coast Mudguard (Ive used both and they are both great.)
first real ride this morning. So Plush! So Smooth! The bike felt sturdier on the fast descents too. Now I just gotta upgrade the rear shock to match the front. I feel like I’m riding a new bike.
The fork came with 1 volume spacer installed. I could already tell that it was way too soft but I did a couple of jumps on my kicker ramp anyways. It blew right through all the travel on the fork. I weight 170 pounds and I had 95 psi in my fork at the time.
So I installed 3 volume spacers and...
