Well I’ve just had an email back from Specialized UK ltd after I asked the question regarding new levo models. He said the full 2019 range will be announced the first week of Sept and stock arriving at dealers shortly after. So at least there def coming. I’ll hang on before buying now and see...

The 2019 Turbo Levo comp/carbon/expert fatties I’m waiting for. There’s an embargo until after euro19 Spoke to LBS the other day they said it will be announced then. Prob not much changed

Yeah we have the new 2019 kenevo and HT in stores in the UK it’s the New Levo FSR were waiting for. Hopefully something announced next month.

Tried a Shimano Steps system today in a focus Jam2... very impressed to be honest. Lighter than the specialized levo and just as easy to pedal with motor off. Very quiet. The motor is a little twitchy on and off the power but mainly in boost mode trail and eco are great. Decisions decisions...

Well this helps me decide once and for all I don’t want a Bosch system. Too many reports of the drag and the last thing I want when spending a lot of money on my first emtb is drag when I hit the limit or the battery dies. I’ve tested a Brose Motor and loved it, not tested the shimano yet but...

Well heres waiting for a 2019 Levo to appear, out the window. I dont want to wait till Nov/Dec for a bike, Might have to source a 2018 model instead..:confused:

Thanks for input, I think I’m going to go down the full sus route, I’m just waiting for the 2019 Specialized bikes to be announced to them see what my options are. Don’t want to go crazy with price so maybe either the entry level fsr full, or comp if it’s much better. Looked at the Bosch motor...

Yeah i get that, i to be fair Shimano was only the other setup i would consider. Not seen many about tho. As ive got to wait for 2019 specialized anyway i might try a few more just for the hell of it. Any Shimano particular bikes you recommend?

Well just been to local store and Demo'd a bike, a 2018 Specialized Turbo Levo Comp Fattie hardtail. Well all i can say is WOW.. as its the first Ebike ive ridden i was very impressed, and i even turned the motor off and it was like riding a normal bike no drag, no fuss, nothing.:D I can see...

Hi Tori, Thanks for the advise, ive watched some of your videos and yeah they help... id love to stretch to a Levo Expert like yours but thats way out of my league.. So its just to find the next best thing. Im gonna look into the Steps motors too as these seem to have hardley any drag and good...

Yeah thats what all the reviews say, its a really good drive unit but has alot of Drag when you hit the limit or motor off.. Thats kind of putting me off to be honest.

Ooops yeah sorry fat fingers.. yeah 500Wh on the Cube and i think 406Wh on the Specialized that was offered me.. So both motors feel ok when the motors not on? Alot seem to say the Bosch CX is like Peddeling through treacle when not on or cut out..
