I wouldn't describe a Horst-link bike as poppy - mushy is more like it ;)
Let's hope the new Levo SL will still be a light trail bike. If you want something burly, just go with the Kenevo SL or rather Full Fat.
Has anyone tried a speedbox on a Levo SL. The information is a bit vague regarding the compatability of the Speedbox 1.0 with the Mahle motor. According to their website it should work SpeedBox 1.0 for Brose Specialized - Quantity: 1 pcs, Bag :: SpeedBox Tuning but has anyone any real world...
Note: this requires MasterMind TCU firmware 31.C.0. or higher and the latest Mission Control version.
Steps to display AXS information on MasterMind unit:
1. Turn on bike
2. Enter setup menu of MasterMind display (keep +/- buttons on remote pressed)
3. Navigate to: Sensors / Pair ANT /...
When you work at a Specialized dealership and have access to Spec dealer site you get a good indication of how good or bad a product is selling. Unfortunately the SL is not selling :(
It would make no sense to not do it with a software upgrade. Otherwise It would mean that the Kenevo SL would be outdated after just one year since its release. I don't think Specialized would want to kill it so soon.
Just tested that you can fit a 29" x 2,3" Specialized Eliminator rear tyre on the new Alloy Levo. There's not much clearance, but it should work fine in dry conditions  Tested on a rim with 30 mm internal width.
Tero and Vado share the same frame. Head angle on Tero is 66,4 and seat angle 73,4. That's what you get when you just put a longer fork on a frame that is designed for something else
2022 will be exactly the same as 2021. Not even colour changes. Apparently it will be updated for 2023 sometime next spring. Love my 2021 Comp Carbon though and can't see what there would be to change - the fit is perfect, geo spot on for trail riding and motor has all the power you'll ever need!
The street tuned motor has only 50 nm torque. Specialized seem to send out these when they offer assisted purchases. Probably wrong partnumber in their system because our shop just received two of them for an old Levo and first generation Kenevo. We are obviously not going to mount them on the...
It depends on production batch. Bikes produced after (if I remember correctly) Aug 2019 all come with the black hardcase. You can see the date of production on the sticker located under the top tube.
FYI A 2,6" Bontrager XR4 fits fine in the rear on a SL Comp Carbon. Swapped rear wheels on our demo Trek Fuel Ex 8 with our Demo SL Comp Carbon. It was a weight savings of over 400 grams. The EX8 has a Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheel with XT 12 Speed cassette. The NX derailleur works fine with the...
