Will the rapid growth of eMtb see the progressive decline of uplift demand at bike parks ?
Factors Supporting a Decline:
Environment: Electric vs diesel burners
Availability: Much easier to book in on an Ebike than a limited supply uplift
Technology: Ebikes are getting lighter, batteries...
I ask as the e8000 is now around 4 years old. There is limited field service support for the motor apart from "replace it" and Shimano, unlike say Bosch and Brose have never specialised in motors.
Thoughts ?
Hi,
I've been running an E8000 DB Ranger for about 700 miles or 1.5 years.
After 90 miles the motor Stopped. Merlin, where I bought the bike sent the motor to Madison. Therin a ding dong between them regarding the performance of the motor. Madison saying it's fine. Merlin not. About 1.5 months...
Just joined - been running my trusty upgraded DB Ranger (aka mondraker ecrafty/Willier) and getting rather addicted to eMTB especially in our slop and muck.
Been analog MTB for...mmm..well since around 1990. Still enjoy my Enduro 29er but you can't beat a 2.8" rear wheel in the slippery clay...
