I changed the Speci Command Post to a OneUp Components dropper post 170mm. Fits great, but you need to change the shifter as well (or manipulate the cable attachment of the Speci shifter) as the cable installation is different. I went for the Bike Yoke trigger. The "old" OneOp v1 is on sale I think.
I´m running the new Schwalbe Hans Dampf 29 x 2.35 SG as rear tyre and the BB height is 35.5mm for my 2018 Carbon Comp Levo. Would recommend not to go for a 2.6 width as rear tyre - clearance was too low in my case (had a Butcher 29 x 2.6).
@JanCapek: Thanks again for the good explanation. I used both the ebike field and the Speci data field and it worked so far. The only thing is I need to connect the sensors again when using a separate battery - did so yesterday but the ebike field did not show the battery level. The Speci data...
@Rob Hancill : Any chance to measure the height of the Maxxis tyres meanwhile? No hurry as season ends here now, and winter is coming... but daytime is still OK to go for a ride :)
OK, more interested in what the watch is recording and storing in tcx or any equivalent file (and what I can see and analyze in Garmin Connect) than in what the watch is showing during the ride - I will not look at the watch during a ride anyway. My current watch can´t get data from the levo so...
OK, great, thanks. I´m more interested in analyzing data after the ride - compare total ride or section data in terms of avg. speed, avg. power, heart rate etc.
Do you mean I need to connect the sensors in the settings menu separately with the Levo? I can do that via the settings menu, and I can add that fields now.
OK, but with rider power, cadence and assistance level there is a good proxy of motor power given. Battery consumption should be OK to...
I meanwhile managed it to download the ebike field app. Currently I have installed the Speci Data fields but it shows only assist mode and battery level. I will change that to ebike fields.
My intention is more to record data such as rider power (current, max, average), motor power (current...
I tried to download the ebike field to my Garmin Fenix 5 today but with no success. Garmin Connect tells me to update my watch to download the Ebike field app but the watch has the current software installed (Version 8.0.0.0). Any suggestions?
Mine had 2 tokens. I think Specialized put 1 token in the Revelation when it comes with a regular MTB and 2 for an E MTB. With 2 tokens and the psi recommendations printed at the fork, the Revelation is far to hard. Would also be interested in any feedback on Revelation tuning. I´m also thinking...
Does anyone know if the Butcher 29 x 2.6 Blck Dmnd is higher than the GRID version? My LBS put the Blck Dmnd on my 29er rims as rear tyre, amazing grip, can use it with 20 psi or even below, but the distance to the motor is extremly low (around 2mm). Up to now no issues but it would be...
@Rob Hancill : Can you measure the hight of both the 2.5 and 2.4 Maxxis tyre? Are this WT tyres? I run a 29 x 2.6 Butcher as rear tyre on a 2018 Levo and it is really close to the motor. Thanks!
That´s right but the 2.6 Butcher isn´t a plus tyre as the 2.35 Schwable MM or even Hans Dampf has at least the same width and height. The guys at my LBS were suprised that the 2.6 Butcher is so close to the motor.
By the way: I have roughly 2mm (maybe 2.5 :)) in the middle and around 4mm on...
@Specialized Rider Care : Any feedback on the finer adjustments for assistance for Eco mode?
Another comment: The new app has a 3x2 screen with adjustable fields which is fine. But for those using their smartphones as bike computer, can you inrease the number of fields (e.g. 4x2) or even make...
Thanks, and I assume it is a little bit of try and error. With the Levo the only issue is the rear wheel or tyre. The Revelation fork has enough space, so no issue there. My 27.5 2.8 Butchers are fine, too. The MMs (I assume 29 x 2.35?) are they wider or higher?
In my view it is still unclear where the difference comes from: I have a Comp Carbon, using the Roval Traverse with 29mm inner width and Butcher 29 x 2.6 Black Diamond tyres. The picture Karsten posted is quite similar to mine. Aspect ratio of the Butcher is 59mm with around 20 Psi. I also have...
