That’s what I don’t understand about e-bikes …. We pay these company’s thousands of pounds for these bikes and they have the cheek to supply us with wooden sticks as bike stands ! 😂😂😂
Lovely bikes though chaps 👍
You said you got it direct from thok .. How long did it take for delivery ..
And what warranty do you get with it ?
I do like the look of the Scott but when I saw the thok it just had the wow factor .
Really love the look of this bike .. also I tested a Scott e genius 710 last week I did like the Scott but I read you changed from scott to this ... What are you main preferences on this bike compared to the Scott.. ?
Yeah from what I've been told the Bosch motors are very good and powerful but noisy and the drag is an issue ... I looked at brose powered bikes but decided to go with the Scott which is Shimano powered ... I think Shimano are the leaders as in sales so there should be no probs with spares or...
In the same boat as you ... I was looking at speccy but didn't like the lack of info on the handle bar ... tried out a trek powerfly but that had a Bosch motor which I wanted to avoid due to the reported drag issue ... I tested a Scott e genius 710 and loved it so will be making my purchase of...
Wish I lived and rode in Holland, wouldn't matter what anyone said to me abusive or otherwise ... couldn't understand a dam thing they were saying :D
Ignorance is bliss
Did a quick search and found this .. not a credit card but it says insurance will cover you for damage to bike whilst riding ... a little bit off topic i suppose but there you go
Bicycle Insurance - get cheap cover for your bike
I don't actually have a card at the min .. and wasn't going to pay using one but that is a game changer for me ... thanks for bringing that to my attention
That's good to know ... definatly worth paying on credit card for the piece of mind ... I am a novice but I am a brave novice ha ha ... bring on the big slopes
Cheers .... when I do get the bike I will get something like that bag to put tools etc in ... I'm a bit of a tool tart ... Got a garage and shed full of bits and bobs lol ... drives the wife nuts :D
It does look spot on ... the only prob is that I'm 5ft 7 and your bike is a large ... I'm not sure but I may need a medium .. I'm trying one out tomorrow so I will know more then ..... may I ask why the sale of a brilliant bike so soon after purchase?
Already seen it .. Looks spot on but I will need a warranty as I'm a novice rider and will defo fall and damage the bike ... not sure what is covered by warranty though to be honest
