I did the same replacement and for me the 36T feels much better. Previously I was too often in the smallest 2 rear cogs. Now it's a bit more distributed across all 10 gears.
Using 36T would increase speed and thereby resistance which would lead to the battery draining faster. But in practice I...
I’ve got the standard chainstay protector on my levo. Its the glued on, rubber strip. The problem is that it disolves with the Muc off degreaser when I clean my chain.
Has someone removed this strip? Can I just rip it off or does it risk pulling off the paint as well? Will buy lizard skins...

This can be addressed by overriding the speed limiter by reducing the wheel diameter in the motor settings using these instructions Speed limiter hack

Hi
Yes, the specialized dealer I bought the bike from in the Netherlands told me there is a revised version of these covers that they would order. I do not have them yet, they will notify me when they arrive
Could it be the plastic covers? Mine is a 2017 Levo I bought on offer two weeks ago. Dealer said it will order new plastic side covers as it's apparently a known issue. They will replace it under warranty
Hi Mike, did you receive/imstall the new chainring? Im interested to hear your experience. Still out pedalled with the 36T chainring? I see some shops also sell a 38T ring, would that be a better fit or should I get the 36T. Did you have any issues installing it or with the chain stay at the top?
