Are my Presta valve cores removable? (I want to convert them to Clic valves)

Thanks again for your reply! Yes, the valve cap still screws on. I am going to stick with Presta for now, at least until I get a flat or have to change my tires. I don't have too much confidence in TPU tubes. I thought I saw some time ago butyl tubes with removable cores, though I can't seem to...

Are my Presta valve cores removable? (I want to convert them to Clic valves)

For me, tubeless would be too messy and too much of a hassle (I also live in an apartment) - so it's not for me :cautious:.

Are my Presta valve cores removable? (I want to convert them to Clic valves)

Yes, I should have mentioned that I'm still using tubes in my tires. Thanks so much for your replies! Here are two more photos of the Presta valve on the wheel of my Trek Powerfly. One photo is taken without flash, the second with flash. Did I damage the threads on the valve core in trying to...

Are my Presta valve cores removable? (I want to convert them to Clic valves)

I have a Trek Powerfly FS7 2019. I want to convert the Presta valves to Clik. I thought I could see flats on the Presta valve core, so I purchased a Clik Valve Starter Kit. The metal valve core removal tool that comes with the kit catches on the valve core, but I can't turn the valve core loose...

Amflow Customer Support team is here!Amflow Support questions only please

Does Amflow offer an e-bike with an aluminum frame, the M2S motor, and an easily removable battery for charging off the bike? If not, does Amflow plan on offering such a bike?

Soft rear hydraulic brake lever on Trek Powerfly

Last year, the right-sided brake lever on my Trek Powerfly FS7 2019 compressed all the way to the bar. Too afraid to do it myself, I brought the bike to my local bike shop to "burp" the brake. That seemed to fix the brake. Now, this year, new season, both the right and left brakes compress all...

Avinox launch 1500w M2S motor and cheaper M2 motor

Thanks! Unfortunately, Atherton is not available in Canada. The reason I don't want carbon is that I crashed a carbon Specialized Diverge riding out of the bike shop, immediately after purchasing it. The crash wasn't hard, but the frame cracked in 3 places. Since then, I have refused to...

Avinox launch 1500w M2S motor and cheaper M2 motor

Thanks for your reply! But I should have been more specific with my question: Are there any e-bikes with an aluminum frame and the Avinox M2S motor that have an easily removable battery, like the Trek Powerfly or Trek Rail? Based on a past experience, I do not have confidence in carbon frames...

Have Avinox given us a good thing (or not)?

Would anyone know if e-bikes with the Avinox M2S motor require registration and insurance to be ridden legally in Canada?

Do any e-bikes with the Avinox M2S motor have an easily removable battery, like the Trek Powerfly or Trek Rail?

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Clik valve starter kit, extra Clik pump adapter and dust caps, and a Clik head for Fumpa pumps (from Fumpa, already installed on my Fumpa OG electric pump).

Could Giant be up for a class action?

Because tampering with an e-bike (motor, battery) is a risk factor for e-bike fires. So I doubt there could be any case for a class action.

    Bosch vs Shimano drag race

I don't understand why 25km/hr is the speed limit of the motor on your Bosch e-bike. Isn't the speed limit in Australia the same as in the US and Canada - 20mph or 32km/hr?

E-bike battery explodes, burns out NYC store

Interesting. Maybe that's a loophole businesses can use (and are using).

Plug charger first into e-bike battery and then wall socket, or vice versa? (or it doesn't matter?)

I have no electrical knowledge, but this explanation seems to make sense to me. I think I will just continue with my usual practice over my last 4 years of having an e-bike - that is, to plug the charger into the wall socket first, and then to the battery. Appreciate everybody's input in this...

E-bike battery explodes, burns out NYC store

New York state, I believe, now requires UL certification for all e-bike batteries. That would mean that a UL battery blew up - so maybe UL certification does not have as much meaning as we think (or had hoped)?

Plug charger first into e-bike battery and then wall socket, or vice versa? (or it doesn't matter?)

Yes, thanks, I checked: my surge protector has a 15 amp rating on it, so I think I'm okay.
