I have the older Spectral,I'm just under 5'10" so 177 ish CMS? . Canyon recommended me a medium but I went for the large and it fits absolutely perfectly. . I have the seat post raised about 25 mm from bottom.

That's incorrect, I saw it on here the other day somewhere,Canyon prices include all taxes and import I'll try and find it.

It's very confusing because the old and new bikes are mixed in together on the website.

I think there may be a bit of confusion going on here? It's been mentioned that the new spectral has the 504 battery, but on the canyon website it is listed as having the larger 630 .

I can't help with your decision but I have a Canyon Spectral on . I have ridden friends treks, and specialized ebikes that cost a fair bit more than mine did and I can't say I found them any better (or worse) than the Canyon. What are you hoping to improve upon?

A base Levo level is around £4500? and comes with basic suspension etc though . Can't beat a Specialized for back up and warranty though.?

I absolutely love my spectral, I got it for a steal I reckon. Just under 3 k brand new in June, with pretty good components I think. However, if / when it fails its probably gonna be a nightmare to get it sorted so I'm always interested in what else is around for similar money. Seems to me...
