Most of the time I use Komoot or Blevo whilst riding. Mission control does not have the correct features to make it usable for me at the moment. I do however use it for firmware upgrades. There is no reason it could not surpass the other apps.
What do you like about it?
Aways connects to...
I still have the light. I just wanted it out of the way last year, hence the original price. Having done some more research with the guys at Lupine it seems it has already been upgraded To newer LEDs. If somebody wants to give me a more sensible offer then PM me. Failing that I will drop it on eBay.
In Mission Control there is a feature to allow you to manage your battery over a given distance or time. I don't believe it can manage it over a route though. These features are unique to Mission Control.
I tend to e-mail them to myself.
1) Open the attachment in Apple Mail it will render as an XML file.
2) On the top right click the share icon.
3) Scroll the list of proposed apps to the right and click "More"
4) Scroll down and click "Copy to BLEvo".
If you then go into BLEvo -> Bike Monitor...
The answer is in the user manual.
"You may be presented to enter a passcode on first connection to the bike. This can be found on a yellow sticker in your manual or written on the back of the TCU module. For older bikes it may be 0000."
Good question. The static assistance is the one you configure on the Bike Setup page for ECO, TRAIL and TURBO.
Actually, the value on the Smart Power screen is not particularly useful for an end user. There is a constraint on the bike that doesn't allow the them to overlap across modes, and...
I use the gaiters. They don't look fantastic but they haven't let me down over the last few weeks. I don't think there is a reasonably price alternative at the moment. The high rise Five Tens are not waterproof, and won't be until August next year. Someone had some great looking winter boots...
The Motor power is actually motor input power, aka Volts * Amps. It is not actually the power that the motor is producing, so the value you are looking at is misleading.
I fed that back to Specialized last month. They do not have the ability to determine motor power as they do not have a...

Upon the Peak District at the moment. Been pi$$ing it down since Thursday.. Looks like there may be some chance of Sun in the morning. Reckon it is going to be slippery and wet under tyre in the morning. Still raining now...
Not yet. I have one on my desk, been discussing with the PowUnity team for the last four weeks about a sensible solution for the Brose 2.1 Mag S motor without cutting into the existing cables. Will post any updates here..
The Brose variant does not come with a dedicated Brose cable. It comes with two auto connectors for splicing power off the TCU power cable. It was designed for the 1.3 motor, which did not allow them to develop a connector, and they have not revisited the design for the 2.1 motor.
The GPS unit...
Cheers. You can export from Strava but I think you have to be a premium member. No worries if you can’t.
if you want some company on your next big ride give me a shout.
I created a cable from the front light connector on the motor and up through the frame to a waterproof connector. And then used a DC-DC converter to give me USB.
it works really well, however it could be costly to make if you don’t have all the tools. PM me if you want the details.
