Regen is kind of dumb on MTB because are we really slowing down that much downhill to be worth the squeeze on this? Why not just toss on a little alternator so you can recharge on manual mode while you ride not under power? Sure it will take up more room but endless range. I'm mostly kidding...

I actually have both of those on different bikes. The Marzocchi is a nice shock and usually cheaper than the Vivid... but something I really dislike about is the adjustments don't have indexing - no clicks. It's just smooth ramp making it hard to tune and I use a black marker to make hashes...

I don't know, not being able to pedal without a charged battery seems like the breaking point to me. Too close to an electric motorcycle for my taste. I know, hot take, but it's kind of the core of the experience, the visceral feel of pedaling. With this, are we pedaling by wire essentially?
