Today I loosened the motor bolts on my bike again and re torqued them to 25 Nm. So far, the noise is gone. I have only tested it while stationary. I will see how it is on the next ride.

Check ALL bolts. 99% of mine were loose. Also, if you have the time, grease the pivot bolts. Some are greased, some are not.

I think there was not enough thread engaged.

No, I rode the mech for about 1,000 km with no issues at all. I have already set it up twice according to Sram. I’ll test the setup in gear 7. Maybe that helps.

Does anyone have an official fix for the motor creaking? Mine creaks badly. There were no shims installed from the factory. Bolts and motor contact points are greased and torqued to spec. A video of the creaking is attached in the Google Drive link:

I orderd a size large. Yeah its worse with the Opt. If you’re 100% sure you would order the Hover Monocoque, I could maybe test it on a size medium for you, with 205×65mm or 205x60mm. I tested it with my Moto V2 (aka Rover). But the Body is the same as the Hover Monocoque
