Crestline RS 181.2 thread – builds, reviews, technical info

What cranks are yall finding to look good work well and come in 155mm? My 5 dev don’t fit. They have sent me 2 pair, and new bolts but something with the motor spline and the female spline on their cranks don’t mesh. I think their tolerance is too tight. I can’t even get the bolt threads to...

    Tapatalk and Fora website compatibility?

Fora is no better. I still like Tapatalk when it works correctly.

I had those but returned them when I saw the 150mm 5Dev Cam Zink set. I always hit pedal being a Clyde and having to run 32%sag on the vivid air, so I wanted the shortest I could feasibly run. Obviously regretting returning them now. I would love to run eeWings, but I can only find them in a...

Unfortunately my 5dev cranks are not compatible with the new M2S motor. What offset e thirteen cranks are y’all using?

Damn. I’m born in 83 and that’s what I do on park days. Goggles are too damn hot here in the SE.

Bought a set of 5 dev cam zinc cranks in 150mm. Anyone running them as well? I absolutely can not get them on. Not sure what’s going on but they won’t thread on. I’ve emails 5dev, we will see what they say. I’m thinking they are out of spec somehow.

Waiting on a few parts still. Should have it together before Memorial Day but we are going to Hilton Head that week. So my riding will have to wait till the weekend after.

Speaking of the sram power cable, how are y’all routing it to the hanger? Currently mine is routed between the UDH mount ears on the derailleur.

Man, I tired the line, string, shifter cable, all taped to the cord and nothing. Finally a fished some trimmer wire in there and taped the end butt to butt and barely made it through. Something about the chain stay bend was getting the plug hung up. Glad it’s over though. Now it’s time to...

Avinox speed ring with center lock rotors/hubs

I ended up using the shimano adapter. I am probably going to order longer rotor bolts though. They don’t get a whole lot of engagement on the threads.

The sram power cable is a PIA to route. Good god it took me forever.

Finally got my bike from the FedEx warehouse today. Seat tube was a little smashed but I was able to get the clamp on and a post in so I think I’m gtg. We will see if it creaks. FYI, my chain stay ends didn’t ship with lock tight on the bolts. I also greased them while pulling them off. Then...

It was a joke, a rather funny one at that, and not a dick ... don't take it so hard. Either way, I also am looking at a raised stem. Its a pricy experiment though. Going to ride with my usual 35mm stem first but with the 50mm rise one up bars this time vs my traditional 35mm rise bars and see...

Onyx Redesigned the classic hub for the hook flange version. When I received mine I was pissed because I didn't want the vesper. A quick email to Berd solved the issue. The hook flange classic now looks like a vesper but has 2 sprag clutches in them now like normal, but are lighter. Only...

Jarods is awesome. One of my favorites. About an hour west of Atlanta is Coldwater creek that is fun too. About 3 hours north is Ashville area that has a ton of options like Kanuga and Rock Creek. We should get an Atlanta thread going.
