150+ miles, M2s. No rattle. However, my headset is creaking like crazy!. Maybe I need to make a thread about it?

I went with the Wolf Tooth 200mm dropper post. Shortest insertion length available. If the 210 is on the edge of being too long, 200 with better insertion will be on the money, I’m guessing.

You’re welcome! I did my first ride with this yesterday on trail mode and for the first time I was forced home not by battery life but actual life (time)! I used trail mode as well in the power setting. Did 21 miles, 5200 feet and had 25% battery left! The mode provided a great level of...

this is for a rider weighing 95kg with full kit. A little heavy for me but close enough. We're not building rocket ships here.

His approach is to treat the modes like an old school front chainring, and shifting it depending on the type of incline you are experiencing. At the end of the day, you can leave it in turbo and have tons of support-basically Trail mode + on the current settings- which is plenty for any remotely...

I haven't used any of these modes yet, but will today. I made a "Bosch Mode" of 750w, 85nm that I primarily used before and it was PLENTY powerful. Too much, honestly. I'm curious how this new setup with lowered power delivery improves range. I'll report back once I get a feel for it.

First off, this bike rips! Like, it absolutely fucking sends. I am just so hyped. However, coming off a EP8 the assist levels on the M2S motor are just too powerful for me to feel like I am getting any type of workout. Once this novelty had worn off, I have been toying with additional custom...

6’0” 32” inseam 155mm cranks on a RH3 with a Wolf Tooth 200mm post. It has the shortest insertion and is perfect height. A 210 one up would be a little tall and have a 15mm higher stack height. The wolf tooth could be slammed a tiny bit more -in a perfect world- but is totally acceptable for PNW...

interesting. I'd lean more towards the lighter side then. 12nm seems to split the difference. Maybe @Troydon can chime in.

its 8nm for the dropouts- not 15, that's double the recommended torque and too much for these small bolts..Also you will need to use an Allen key on the inside to secure the insert inside the dropout to keep it from spinning and to achieve proper torque. @mrtrinh @jej737

@Greg Watts. Can you compile a report of the issues some of us Crestline folks are having with assist modes on the MS2 then tag in an Avinox support person on this website to look into it? Also, sorry to bother the sentient humans in this thread with AI slop. No offense, bot.

Yeah. I’ve bumped pressure way up to the point it defeats the purpose of running radials in terms of improving grip. Still a very slow tire. Pretty heavy. Definitely not the game changer they started off being. No such thing as a free lunch. I still run them in the wet weather though.

I like the radials for wet roots and rocks we have in PNW but in the end, way too much rolling resistance and tire squirm even running them at 30/32. Went contis for the first time. Seems like they need some break in time first. Very fast tire so far IMO.

Thanks, I sorted that out but wanted to be sure before I took it out for its first proper ride. Appreciate the response
