    Bosch CX Gen 5 rattle

Sorry I can't remember, it was a bit of a wiggle but came out ok. I didn't do anything strange or disconnect anything further. I'm trying to remember though if I maybe pushed it up to the top of the frame to get the bottom part out first, I really can't remember....sorry.

    Bosch CX Gen 5 rattle

You can do this without dropping the motor no problem on a large frame. Ive had the rib out a few times. Dropping the motor is also straightforward. I was chasing another rattle last week, which involved me removing the seat. I thought I had to drop the motor to get the cable for the dropper...

Other Where are the 2025 Trek Rail+ Gen 5 reviews?

Just on the subject of rattles. My own rail developed a little rattle from rear, sounded like the chain/derailleur. I took the whole bike apart chasing it. Motor out, seat removed, chain off, everything. Turned out to be the wire for the speed sensor inside the rear chain stay. If I had known...

    Bosch CX Gen 5 rattle

Post screenshot to confirm?! I've just over 1000miles on my trek rail with gen 5 motor. Bike had rattle when I got it new last summer. Quickly isolated the issue to the lock mechanism, took it out and fixed with some tape. Rattle free since. Those 1000miles have been rough with a heavy rider...

Yep you can take it out easily enough and wrap some tape around the barrel to sort it.

    4th derailleur in 14 month

Jaysus. I bought a Rail last summer. Have just 1000 miles on it now. This week it ate the tension jockey wheel. I put my other bikes derailleur to get me going. Was considering the di2 set up but at 500 euro for all the bits and then 300 euro for the derailleur alone I might give it a miss...

What did you buy your ebike this week?

2.0 update plus a little firmware adjustment for speed. Also picked up some pulleys after the bike ate one earlier...

    Ebike Support !

I'd be pretty sure that's the issue. Flow app sees gps speed from paired phone and it doesn't match the bike speed based of the fiddled wheel size. Two numbers too far apart throwing the error(I'm guessing)

    Ebike Support !

I don't know for sure but I would not use the flow app for activity tracking if you have altered the wheel size parameter. Even if it works fine now. It prob one of the easiest ways for Bosch to know you've fiddled with the bike with continued large gap between gps speed and wheel speed.

    Ebike Support !

I used ebike doctors service this evening. Whole process was very simple and slick with guides for each step of the way. Took bike out and works perfectly with assistance up to 33kmh. Feels more natural as no longer hitting that 25kph wall. Would recommend!

120 Nm update for the Bosch CX and CX Race Announced

I'm just trying to interpret what Bosch have published about the new update. In relation to previous I think it was 340% that you could use the slider on assistance to bring it up to 400%.

    50% of 400 is 200, not 300. 150% of 400 is 600
