Levo Gen 4 Gen 4 Sworks and Non-Sworks New Firmware Coming Soon (Yes, Really !)

Do you think they’ll fix it and allow the assist level to be set below 10%, or introduce an auto - - mode for those who don’t want a motorcycle, but a bicycle?

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

I would love to hold 260 W for 5 hours, but my training level and my schedule don’t allow me to train that hard to reach that goal. My criticism is different. With 10% ease of access and 30% max power, I (and the group of 6 Turbo Levos I ride with) lose progression in the assistance. The motor...

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

It could be an idea, but the range extender is not free, and for me it is very expensive for what it offers. I want a bike that is easier to pedal. I want to use a custom setting and, with some simple calculations, for me a support level between 5% and 8% would be perfect. In my opinion, with...

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

I want to go back to a point that, in my opinion, is the real problem of this bike. For everything else, I am fine with it, but the power delivery of this motor is very bad and it is driving me crazy. My main issue is that the motor pushes too much even at 10% support. To fix this, I contacted...

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

That’s a great idea! I, like many others, really want that too, but Specialized currently locks the system at a minimum of 10/10. My dream would be to have a 5% Assist setting that I could choose as “ease,” and then pick a number for Max Power. Even better would be a slider or micro-tune between...

Mine also seems a bit noisier than my Gen 3, but nothing particularly annoying. On my Gen 3, with assist set to 20%, it was practically impossible to hear the motor at all. On the Gen 4, even with assist at just 10%, you can definitely notice it.

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

If the display shows motor power ÷ rider power, you’re seeing how much the motor is contributing relative to what you’re doing with your legs. Ratio = 1.0 → Motor is giving exactly the same watts you are. Ratio = 1.5 → Motor is giving 50 % more watts than you are. Ratio = 0.5 → Motor is giving...

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

Back from my last ride with an Assist Level of 10% and Maximum Power set to 35%, I've configured the display to show the ratio between motor power and rider power. On flat terrain, this ratio is about 1.5 (ranging from roughly 1.4 to 1.6). But since I've limited the motor to 40%, once I start...

Honestly, it does sound a bit strange to me too, but looking at the video, it seems like everything was done in a fairly scientific way... If someone understands German well, they could probably help us better than the automatic translator.

In this image (you can easily find it online), you can see a graph that shows how the motor power output (Y-axis) changes depending on the rider’s leg power (X-axis).This graph was created by testing the bike on a bench. In the Specialized system, there are two values that influence this curve...

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

On my last ride, I climbed about 2000 m D+ and finished with 9% battery left. My settings were Support 10 / Peak Power 45. Still, I find the motor is pushing too hard, especially on flats or moderate gradients. If I lower peak power even more, then when the climb gets steep, it becomes very...

Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

I’d like to share some feedback based on my experience. I’ve owned three Turbo Levos: the first was a Turbo levo expert 2017, then a Turbo levo comp alloy 2022, and now the Turbo levo comp alloy 2026 model. I usually ride all-mountain trails. Between the 2017 and 2022 models, the biggest...
