After almost two years of perfect reliability, the motor in my '18 Kenevo failed, so I swapped out the motor.
Its a nice easy job with minimal tools needed:
- allen keys
- 13mm deep socket & ratchet
- chainring spider lock ring tool
- thermal compound
- die-electric grease (or vaseline)...
Another shop has been done over and had a load of ebikes taken, keep your eyes open. '18 Kenevo with air shock and Ohlins forks is particularly unusual:

Keep your eyes open, a specialized dealer in Cornwall lost a bunch of levos, a kenevo comp and a load of other bikes last night. If you get offered anything that's too good to be true, give these guys a call.
Does anyone have a link for a mech hanger for a kenevo? I have had a look online and it seems like they are the same as a bunch of other specialized bikes, but it's a bit unclear.
